Elliott's POV

The examination and patching up felt as if hours went by with everything that hit me at once. No matter how much pain I was in I still did not want it to end because I had Sterling with me.

"You should be stable for now until the doctors come" Sloane says.

"She's okay now?" Sterling asks her uncle.

"Well I wouldn't say okay, but she is a bit more stable than before"

"Okay" she lets go of my hand, beginning to walk away.

"Sterling please don't go" I get up from the table. That was a mistake because now I am face first on the floor. I manage to push myself up onto a chair. "Please let me tell you the truth"

"Why should I give you that chance? And why would I believe anything you say after what happened tonight?" she shouts at me.

"You're right, I don't deserve it. But you deserve to know the truth. If you never want to see me again I will leave. If you want to torture me than I let you. If you want to kill me then I will kneel down and wait for the bullet. But please let me tell you the truth before you choose"

"KJ...let her explain" Drew tells her daughter. Did she really just say that or do I also have a concussion?

"What?! Ma why are you even helping her?" Sterling asks in disbelief that her mom is helping me. I don't understand why she is helping me either but I hope it works.

"Because I did the same thing to your mom"

"You tried to kill mom?!"

"No, but I did use her. Me and your mom didn't meet on some random mission. I was sent to expose one of three families and your mom was part of one. I got close to her to get information about her family"

"How could you do that to mom? And how could she forgive you for that?"

"Because I learned the truth" Blair replies.

"I never meant to hurt your mom KJ. I was given a mission and that is all it was to me, just a mission. But when I met your mom things changed. I fell in love with her. It wasn't just a mission for me anymore. She meant way more to me. Luckily for me your mom gave me and my siblings the chance to explain everything" Drew says. "If I didn't think that Elliott was telling the truth she would have been dead already"

"And how do you know she is telling the truth?"

"Because I knew who she was weeks ago"

"What?!" Sterling shouts.

"You did? How?" I ask her.

"I'm an ex spy with spy siblings and parents. It was not hard. I am ashamed to say that it took me a while to figure it out, but this all didn't happen last minute. Once your background check came back it was too clean. It was done very well, I don't know who did all your papers but they are really good" they should be we had the best hacker in France create them. He has gotten away with so much. He basically controls half of the government officials.

"The thing that caught our attention the most however, was that there was no face recognition on you besides fake school photos and some other family photos. But we did get a partial match, Ella Lambert. You look just like her" Drew says, bringing some emotion to me. One of my favorite things about me was that I resemble my mother. It was also one of the things my father hated the most.

"When we researched her we found a marriage certificate to your father. Once I found that connection other things started to make more sense. I don't know if your name is actually Elliott, but your last name you told us, Kosto. The Finnish word for revenge. That was pretty clever. And what also confirmed everything for me was my test"
