17 : Prove It

Elliott's POV

Note to self, wear a cup when playing soccer. Getting kicked with a ball as it travels at a fast speed is a horrible pain. How can a high schooler kick a ball that hard? I honestly thought that Brooks broke my dick for a good five minutes. The first hour was not fun. The pain linered for way longer than expected, but with the ice numbing the area it was a bit better.

I promised Brooks that I would practice with her but in a few days. It has been a week and I am still a bit scared for it to happen again. I was too traumatized to keep practicing later that day. It was nice having Sterling care for me however. She was very kind and gentle with me. More than she already is.

Spending time with the Kanes is the best. It feels so easy with them. I feel like I can be myself. I don't feel the pressure of having to be perfect or thinking that I am just a mistake. They care and they show it. I have basically been living here for some days now.

Everytime I see Drew and Blair I can see the amount of love they have for each other. Their love is still as strong as the love you have when you first fall for someone. They would do anything for each other and for their family. I hope that me and Sterling have a similar love.

"Hey KJ can I come in?" Brooks knocks on the bedroom door as me and Sterling watch a movie.

"Yeah come in" Sterling replies. Brooks opens the door and walks to us. We are sitting on the couch in Sterling's room.

"Hey, what's up?" Sterling asks her sister.

"Um...I, um I" she rubs the back of her neck. Her nerves are obvious.

"What's wrong Brooks?" Sterling asks. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. It's just that, um, I was wondering if I can talk to Elliott?" she finally answers.

"Of course. What did you want to talk about?" I sit up to give her my attention.

"Oh, um, I meant if I could talk to you privately?" Brooks looks at her sister and I follow.

"I'll be downstairs" Sterling smiles before getting up and exiting the room.

Brooks comes over and sits next to me on the couch. She still looks nervous about talking about what she wants to talk about.

"What did you want to talk-"

"How do you know when you are ready to have sex?" she quickly speaks out catching me by surprise.

"Oh, um" I stumble not expecting that to be her question.

"Forget I asked" she says and begins to stand but I stop her. She sits back down.

"Why don't you tell me more about why you are asking this question" I reply.

"Only if you don't tell my sister"

"This stays between us" I smile gently.

"Okay, well, my friend Blake, isn't really my friend anymore. She is more than that. She has been for some time now" she smiles as she speaks of her. "And things have been moving pretty fast between us. Yesterday when we were making out in her room she was on top of me and she started moving her body against mine. I got really into it but suddenly I was really into it and um-"

"You got a boner?" I finish her sentence.

"God this is so embarrassing" her hands cover her face.

"Brooks, it is not embarrassing. It's normal. She turned you on, it happens" I reply.

"No not that. I have gotten boners before. This time though I couldn't hold it in anymore"

"What do you mean?" I look at her with confusion.
