Chapter 28: Just Friends Or More?

Ashton's POV

Luke and Ashleigh have been super close all week and I feel it is time for them to get together because if I see them smooching one more time in public I will literally scream at them to get together because honestly they are so cute!...Wow I sound like a girl...So today Luke says that he is spending time with Ashleigh at his house and they are just going to watch movies...more than likely they will end up making out.

Luke's POV

I am spending some time some alone time with Ashleigh today and we are just going to relax and watch some movies and maybe something else I have in mind which by the way is the most nerve wracking thing I have ever done. There was a knock at my door so I shot up from my seat on the sofa, I ran to the door and sure enough it was my beautiful girlf- I mean best friend. ''Hey Luke!'' She blushed, I smiled opening my arms for her and she wrapped her arms around my neck. ''Hey Ashleigh'' I smiled.

''So what are we doing today?'' She asked pulling away and looking into my eyes.

''Well I have something already planned so...'' I looked away the thing I had planned was nerve wracking and I had the feeling that I was going to throw up right in front of her. ''Well yea lets do whatever you have planned then.'' She smiled. I led her out of the door and intertwined our fingers together closing the door behind me. We walked down the path, I was taking her somewhere familiar because I had a very important question to ask her.

''Luke really The Wood why are we here?'' Ashleigh chuckled and I smiled showing my dimples. Calum, Michael, Brooke and Ashton appeared behind her, she turned around at the sound of their footsteps. ''Why is everyone here?'' She asked confusion in her voice. they all smiled and I grabbed both of her hands turning her back around. She looked at me and furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

''Ashleigh I don't know how to do this so I am just gonna wing it I guess haha... When I first saw you...I thought you were different, when we first met in that little office and you were shy, then I gave you the tour and showed you this place because I trusted you and I am so happy I did. Then you met the others and you all connected like you had known each other your whole life and I loved that. Danielle got in the way at one point but she is long gone, Calum and you were once a thing believe it or not, I was sad at that moment because I missed you. Then the band happened and we got our gig and we kissed and I was so happy. Then we went shopping and got noticed and my life is going amazing but there is one thing missing and that's you so Ashleigh will you be mine?'' She gasped tears running down her cheeks and I felt bad but then she jumped into my arms. ''Yes I will!!'' She shouted the others clapped from behind us and she laughed. I kissed her and she smiled into the kiss. ''I-I love you Ashleigh.'' I whispered, I was nervous would she say it back? Was I too early? It was true though I loved her so much. ''I love you too Luke.'' She whispered, looking at me and that's what we did, stood there smiling, looking into each others eyes. She was mine...

A/N: The epilogue is next guys!! Can't believe this story is nearly over! I have this story saved on my iPod for I don't know how long... It has been months! So yea hoped you enjoyed this, Luke's little speech was so cute. I wish he would be my best friend:(( Not my boyfriend just my really close best friend like me, Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton and we would all be best friends together and like be brothers and sisters.
