Poem

2 1 1

Well, today the doctor who came out on Friday is due to come out again today. Don't think she'll be happy to know that Mum's been bedridden since Thursday. I haven't been encouraging Mum to stay in bed; I've let her choose her own pace. It just so happens that her pace is a full stop!

God Saw You Getting Tired

When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped His arms around you,
And whispered "Come to me."
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So he gave you a rest.
God's Garden most beautiful,
He only takes the best.
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain,
I could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.

I

found that little poem in a Jade tributes pullout in one of the papers,

and I have to say that it is very apt. I may use that in some capacity

myself as a tribute to Mum!!
