A FEW DAYS LATER.

The MTV VMAS were next week, and Amara had travelled back up to her shared place in London. The Junes needed some time to practice their song that they were gonna be performing at the show, not like they were shit and needed the rehearsal, but because Lara was overthinking and wanted everything to be perfect. She still didn't know what to wear.

"I think I messed up a chord- restart!" Lara groaned, rubbing her hand over her face in annoyance.

"Lara, like before, you're fine! It sounded good." Amara reassured her, adjusting her guitar strap over her shoulder more comfortably. She finally had a chance to properly use her guitar that Liam had gotten her. She loved it.

"I don't want it to just sound good. It needs to be fuckin' perfect."

"It is perfect!" Molly added, sending a look to Amara. "Even if you do mess up, which you won't 'cause you're bloody brilliant, just keep goin'."

"Exactly." Amara agreed.

Lara huffed, running her fingers through her hair. She nodded, "Yeah, yeah whateva'. Go again."

Amara strummed the first few chords of their song before singing the lyrics to one of their new songs on their upcoming album they hadn't told anyone about. They were still fiddling with the name of the album, but at the moment it was gonna be called 'MIXXD'. Molly thought it sounded cool. The song they were gonna perform at the VMAS, and the one there rehearsing, was called 'New Moon'.

Thankfully, Lara didn't stress herself out this time and the band managed to get through it. Amara saw her face more happier this time.

"That was.. better. Always room for improvement though." Lara muttered, taking her guitar strap off and placing it to the side for a break.

"Lara, cut yourself some slack, babe." Amara told her calmly, "We're gonna be fine."

"I know. I dunno why I'm so nervous. I've got a weird feelin' for some reason." Lara bit her nails, before moving her hand away when she realised she was doing it.

Molly got up from her stool and over to Lara, sitting on the arm of the sofa in their studio. She was clearly thinking of something to say to make her feel better. Both of them knew Molly wasn't the best person at making others feel better, but they knew she was trying, and that was all that mattered.

"Well, it's America innit? We're obviously gonna be better than them even if you do think you're shit."

Lara snickered quietly, "Cheers sis." Molly caught her sister's lip curl up.

"Hey, I saw that." Molly teased.

"You saw nothin'."

"I believe I did." She poked Lara's cheek, causing her sister to playfully slap her away.

Molly tried to mess up Lara's face, "Oi!" Lara laughed, pushing her sister. "Don't make me push you off the arm again!"

"That's abuse!" Molly cackled, holding back Lara's arms as she was leaning dangerously close to the edge of the arm. "I'll sue you!"

"Not if I sue first! I'm older."

"By a year!"

Amara chuckled to herself at the siblings antics. No matter their age, they were always gonna act like children. The phone in the next room then rang, Amara left the sisters in the room and went to answer it with a smile on her face. She took the phone off the receiver and held it to her ear.

"Hello?" Amara asked, she looked at the number and didn't recognise it.

"Hello there, can I confirm whether this is the studio of The Junes? I tried your home landline and there was no answer." An unknown voice came through.
