She didn't want them to end. She loved him too much. But sometimes it hurts. Amara couldn't keep using the same excuse.. 'we've been together since we were seventeen, we can't break up!" Fighting was normal in relationships, but maybe this was different.

She snapped out of it when the music stopped. She took a few more drags of her cigarette and she then heard the door behind her open. She was actually surprised he remembered to come outside, who knows what he was thinking. Amara turned her head at him, his usual rockstar look and swagger, fitting in with the crowd without a problem.

"That's what you call a proper performance, songbird. Better than any others you've ever seen." He grinned at her, wrapping his arms around his waist and kissing the back of her neck as if everything was fine. But it wasn't. She shrugged him off, "What's up with you now?" He grimaced.

"You tryin' to imply summat?" Amara asked after pulling away from him, turning her body around and flicking her fag on the ground.

"What's crawled up your bloody arse? It's a fuckin' joke, Mara." He seemed confused by her anger.

She closed her eyes for a moment, preparing herself to speak. "I hate the way you speak to me sometimes.. really, I do."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"The way you spoke to me earlier? Did that not occur to you that you were bein' a dick?" Amara snapped. He opened his mouth to reply, but she wasn't finished. "I get you might be jealous seein' me hug another guy, but how many times do I have to explain that Damon n' I are nothin'! I had just performed a tribute song to my two best mates, who fuckin' died the other day! Do you know what's runnin' through my head right now? She was pregnant too."

"Says the girl who was basically tryin' to get it on with me brother before I had to go on! You've always been strangely close." Liam fired back. Amara rolled her eyes in anger at how he ignored what she just explained.

"Fuck! You're not even listenin' to me! You only care about your image and ego nowadays!"

"You're my bird, not his."

"Fuck off, Liam. No I'm not." Amara spat out. She felt a pressure in her chest when she said it out loud, a nervous flush crawled up her skin when she watched Liam's angry expression slowly turn to worry.

His brows knitted together, "What d'you mean.. what's that supposed to fuckin' mean, Amara?"

"Don't make this harder than it needs to be Liam, please.." Amara breathed heavily. She couldn't believe that she was doing this. "You basically called me a slut to my face, yet you tell me you love me and act like everythin' is alright when it ain't. You treat me like shit without realising it sometimes, and you know what happened between me and Ad-"

Her breath caught in the back of her throat for a moment when she attempted to say his name. She clenched her fist behind her back a little and dryly swallowed in order to continue, "-you know what Adam did to me. Yet you're so insecure, and you'll never ever keep a woman for as long as you did with me. Because it's over..."

He shook his head frantically, he went to take her hand in his, but this time she was the one shrugging him off. "You don't mean that. Amara, babe-"

"I love you, Liam, so much. But we can't keep doin' this.." Amara's voice slowly broke, looking away for a moment. "I can't keep doin' this."

"You'll come back again. I know you will, this, this isn't over-"

"Again?" Amara scoffed. "That was a fuckin' mistake and half."
