Amara hit it off straight away with Bonehead and Guigsy when she met them for the first time. She had never seen them around before so she had to admit that she was quite nervous, so after a while of hanging out in Bonehead's garage with just her and the boys she asked if it was alright if she could invite some of her mates around.
Of course, Bonehead didn't mind, although only Lara and Molly were able to make it as everyone else was too busy. Molly was a bit closed off, like usual, when she came (since she didn't like new people, but also because Lara forced her to come as she needed to 'get out more'), however after a few hours of listening to the music that was being played live around them she warmed up to everyone, including Amara.
Amara had never seen Molly so talkative, she discovered that the girl could be quite a smart arse with some of her responses. Usually, when Molly was a bit witty she would get told off or others would be offended, but the boys, Lara and Amara loved her sense of humour.
After many weeks of hanging out with friends, falling asleep in school (or skipping with Liam), the three girls became quite close with the four boys they had hung out with. Amara admired Liam's voice very much. His voice was quite raspy when he sang, but at times it could be soft and beautiful if she paid attention quite closely, which she usually did a lot. His stance was unique too, but she liked it as it gave him his own mark. He would keep his hands behind his back as he sang strongly into the microphone. Amara couldn't stop her smile every time she heard his voice echo throughout the garage.
Amara was at home on her bed one day on a Saturday since she didn't have any plans for today. She was skimming through a magazine that her mum bought the other day for her until she got a phone call from Liam. Her face sprung into a smile as she picked up her small, yet bulky phone and answered.
"Alright love?" Liam's voice was heard on the other end, he seemed very excited, but he was clearly toning it down a bit to seem cooler.
"Hiya, I wasn't expectin' you to call today." Amara replied, twirling her hair around her finger as her feet skipped in the air. "Everythin' alright?"
"Yeh, I've got mega news, y'know since me and the lads have started the band we've been gettin' a bunch of support from everyone. Well, we've got our first proper gig coming up!"
Amara couldn't believe what she was hearing. Liam and his mate's new band was growing quickly. It was originally called 'The Rain', but Liam chipped in and changed it to 'Oasis' since it sounded better and the word just kept popping up everywhere apparently. Noel joined too, using his songwriting talents for good use to write some songs that he had for a while. Originally, Liam asked Noel to managed them, but Noel being Noel told him to get fucked as he wanted to be part of it too. One of Guigsy and Bonehead's mates, Tony, was their drummer. Tony was alright at the drums, but sometimes when rehearsing he would be out of time a lot, but everyone brushed it off as nerves at the moment.
"Liam that's amazin'! I'm so happy for you." Amara smiled with glee, "When is it?"
"That's the other thing, it's tonight at 7 and I'd love for you to be there!" Liam told her.
"Of course I will be, I wouldn't miss it for the world, Gallagher."
"I'll see you in the front row then, Watson, can't wait to see ya'. Wear summat nice." Amara could hear his smirk through the phone, "Just tell 'em your name and they'll let you through to the front. Anyway, I've gotta rehearse, later love."
"Bye Liam." Amara heard the line end and immediately got up from her bed, rushing to her wardrobe. Liam had sent her the location to where the gig was being held, but she ignored the message and stared at her boring clothes. She felt like she was in a crisis mode, realising she had nothing to wear to a concert. What was she going to wear? Something revealing, covered up, bright colour, dark colour? It's not like she had many bright colours anyway, mostly grey, dark blue, purples, blacks and white.
