OVER A YEAR LATER. 1997

The Junes stepped off the plane, Amara had a grin on her face as she looked around the empty area outside. No one else was there apart from the airplane staff, greeting them as they went to collect their luggage. It felt good to be back in London, their UK tour had been a huge hit, so their managers encouraged them to extend it to the USA. They had a blast touring through the states, always getting into slight trouble, having a laugh on stage and the girls were as close as they had ever been. They were back home though for a few more extra dates before finishing the tour.

Lara was still performing, she said nothing was going to stop her, even a baby growing in her stomach. Unfortunately, she had to tone it down on the jumping, headbanging, alcohol and partying of course. Either way, she was excited to bring a baby girl into the world in the next few months.

Samantha was holding Lara's bags for her, despite how the woman insisted she was fine. "The doctor said no heavy lifting!"

"I don't have bricks in there! I can drag it!" Lara replied. "Amara, tell her."

Amara shrugged, flipping her sunglasses up onto her head, "I'm gonna have to side with Sammy on this one. Sorry Honey."

Samantha grinned, nudging Lara's elbow lighty, "Told you. Don't worry, it's in safe hands."

"God, it feels good to be back." Molly groaned, rubbing her fingers on her temples.

"I know right. I've missed everyone, minus a few." Amara shrugged her shoulders as they walked.

"Don't you dare even mention their names." Lara moaned and rolled her eyes, "I'd rather relive New York."

Molly chuckled, "But it's our Bird's point of focus! 'Birds who sing' ain't a random song."

Amara shook her head playful at the nickname. "Don't waste air time talkin' about them. Although, I would love to relive NYC. Wouldn't you agree, Mol?"

"Oh yeah, totally." Molly winked.

Lara scoffed, "Ridiculous I tell ya'. I'm the one that's allowed to throw up, not you two! Honestly, did you see how much the hotel charged us. You threw up all over the place!"

Samantha hummed, "It was a little messy, ladies.."

"A little?" Lara repeated.

"Okay, a lot."

"The joys of drinkin', sis. When that baby pops out you'll experience it again!" Molly smiled sarcastically at her sister, who stuck out her tongue at her like a child.

"Seein' you throw your guts up in the shower was really the cherry on top of my cake." Amara laughed at Molly, walking to the open door of the car and everyone piled in. They were headed straight to the venue for their show.

Amara sat between Samantha and Molly, Lara was opposite them, all of them chatting away. Molly rumbled through the draw where the drinks were, she took out a bottle of champagne and popped the cap. Every chuckled and cheered.

"To The Junes and our abnormal, yet bloody brilliant behaviour!" Molly poured every a glass and lifted the bottle in the air. Lara had a simple glass of water instead.

"What's the schedule like today, Sam? It's a bit early to go straight to the venue don't you think?" Amara asked, looking around with a tiny smirk on her face.

"You ain't causin' trouble, Watson. I'm watchin'." Lara jokingly narrowed her eyes at Amara.

"Like usual you don't exactly have to be anywhere until around four for checks or any everything." Samantha read through her notes, "I just assumed with Lara that it's be best to go straight there?"
