September 1990.
Many months later.

A lot of things happened in the next several months after that one gig. Amara didn't notice, but everyone else in her school class did, that her Irish charm had completely vanished and she now suited a proper Manchester accent with a bit of an attitude.

She remembered being sent home a few days before exam season started for being constantly disruptive and loud, but also for calling Ms Clark a 'wanker for being so boring' and that she was 'only having fun'. Her mother was disappointed about Amara's new persona. The only thing her father said to Amara that she mum agreed with was that her friends had influenced her attitudes and personality completely.

Amara wasn't really on good terms with her mum either anymore, sadly enough, but they lived in the same house. At the moment. They had a massive row one night, Amara had came home absolutely pissed after a lively gig somewhere in the heart of Manchester, so she came back very late. Her mum was expressing how dangerous and unsafe Amara was acting, but she just didn't listen.

The only thing that Amara listened to was the fact that her mum blurted out that she was still seeing her dad, in prison obviously. Her dad had only gotten five years in prison, and in Amara's eyes it seemed like her mum wanted him out in five minutes.

Amara felt distraught, her body was frozen when her mum blurted it out. She remembered how she stomped upstairs and slammed her door so hard that the walls shook before erupting into a fit of sobs. Until she felt angry, so angry she wanted to punch a hole through the walls and kick her doors down. Betrayal was filling her heart as her back slid down the door.

The next few weeks after that, exam season started. Amara tried her hardest, she really did, but the stress of everything on her shoulders really took a toll. After every exam she left school in a hurry with her mates to Lara's garage, doing one of the things they were obsessed with. Music.

Molly and Amara were alright now. Molly had admitted that she was being a bit dramatic about the whole coke thing. Lara still didn't know, and Amara wouldn't be the one to tell her. Although, when the two girls' back was turned, Molly took it whenever she needed that extra bit of energy and buzz for performing.

Once school and exams had completely finished, the girls went wild during their holidays with the boys. They were going up and down the place, taking their music with them to promote themselves. It felt so free and fulfilling to be able to do their own thing for a couple of months, no worries at the feet. They made quite a bit of cash along the way too.

Their schedule for performing were simple. The Junes' would perform one night, then they got pissed afterwards and spent the next day recovering. Then, Oasis would perform in the same venue the day after, and the next day they'd spend their time recovering from their hangover during the journey to the next venue.

Amara couldn't really remember her eighteenth birthday. They were doing a gig in Sheffield, a big crowd swarmed the pit. She had taken a bit of coke, again, but this time without telling anyone.. but Molly. Molly's excuse to having it on her person was, "It was just for safekeepin'! I knew you'd been brickin' it tonight it bein' your 18th and everythin' so I got you a little somethin'." Amara, a little bit tipsy, believed her and took it anyway.

After the gig they got hammered once again after presents were given out.

Especially Liam's, which was sex in an alleyway in the dark near the line of pubs.

When it rolled around to Lara and Liam's birthday they had both stopped touring for a little bit, taking a break as it was September so many people were busy with getting into the routine of schooling and shit. Amara didn't bother applying to any Universities, she didn't care. Another thing her mum tried to have a go at her for, but Amara just blocked it out whenever she got home. She didn't notice her relationship damaging with her mum over the days.
