Amara had finished packing her stuff a while ago, unlike Brad who was doing it last minute. They were getting sorted to catch their flight later back to London.
She just came off the phone with Noel as well, basically just catching up with how they've both been. Amara mentioned how she read the Rolling Stone about the media saying how tensions in Oasis between the two brothers were getting bad. Noel said the opposite, things were never as bad as the media portrayed him and Liam, but they were far from perfect.
He was happy about Amara coming back to England as well, saying it hadn't been the same without The Junes. She asked about how his niece, Molly, was doing since she hadn't spoken to Lisa in about a week, and then the rest of the band.
Apparently Molly Honey had been seen partying quite a lot, he couldn't remember the last time he saw her actually go home to rest for once. Lara on the other hand was looking after her daughter on her own.
Amara felt bad for not being there, but Noel reassured her that Lara was fine. Apparently.. Bonehead had been checking up on her quite a lot.
She was in LA for longer than expected, but the thought of going back home made her happy. As much as she loved LA, London was her home. She just didn't know how to tell Brad that she missed her home without making him feel like she didn't want to be in the US with him.
After pondering, the phone rang again. She picked up the phone with no hesitation, "Amara Watson, who's this?"
The other voice on the line let out a rushed breath when she picked up, "Mara! It's been a bit since we've spoken, songbird. Tried to call the other day but the other bloke answered."
"You mean Brad." Amara corrected, "Hello to you too, Liam."
"Yeah, whatever, big league guy." Liam replied, trying to hide his aggravated tone. "I've gotta make this quick though, I need to check on-"
"Lennon. Yeah, I know. You didn't have to call, I understand."
"Of course I needed to call you. I miss you and your voice. Seein' you on TV or papers ain't the same." He longingly spoke, "Saw your little beach trip the other day in the papers. You look great."
Amara chuckled slightly, "I try my best. But I'll be in London soon, catchin' a flight later. Maybe I can see you soon." She trailed off, assuming that she probably wouldn't be able.
"It depends on the day of course. Just lemme know, I want Lennon to meet my songbird." He replied, "You'll love him, really."
Amara smiled when he spoke about Lennon so adoringly, she only wished he spoke about Molly that way. "I'd love to meet him. I'm sure he looks exactly like you, god help him."
"I guess you'll have to hurry up and come over here so you can see for yourself." He continued, he was about to say something else, but a faint crying noise in the background cut him off. "Sorry, gotta go- I'll see you soon though, yeah?"
"Yep, see you soon." Amara said just before Liam hung up. She put the phone back on the receiver before trailing back to the living room, Brad just walked in as well with his bags. "'Bout time, you all ready."
"Yep, London awaits." He grinned, placing his bag on the floor and pulled her in for a long kiss. "Who was on the phone?"
My ex boyfriend who wants me to come over and meet his child. That's who.
"Just Lara. I was tellin' her 'bout us comin' back home." She lied easily with a grin, feeling his hands on her hips. If she said it was Liam, he'd probably get pissed off or jealous, which would be understandable.
