For some reason Amara felt excited to go baby shopping, even if it was on Liam's behalf. Of course she made him make an effort when it comes to his future child. But she also wanted to prove to him that they can make this work, and even show that Liam can become a proper father to his future daughter.

Amara drove around the back of the building, their tinted windows made sure paparazzi couldn't see inside their car. Thankfully they weren't followed or found when they exited the car and went through the back entrance. When they entered the large building, they both saw how the shutters at the main entrance were down as if the store hadn't opened yet.

Last time Amara was in the store was when she, Molly and Lara went browsing for clothes and toys for Lara's future baby. So thankfully, Amara had a fair idea of what to look for, especially since Liam's child was going to be a girl. She wanted things to be perfect.

"Miss Watson, it's lovely to see you again!" One of the shopkeepers spoke. Amara remembered their name to be Josie. "Mr Gallagher, welcome. Do you need any help this time? We've recently had some new stock come in that I'm happy to help you look through."

"Josie, hi." Amara smiled, "I think we'll manage, but cheers!"

"No problem, I'll be by the tills if you need me. The baby clothes are over there near the front and the toys are at the side, anything extra will be towards the back." Josie replied, clasping her hands together professionally.

"Thank you, Josie."

Once Josie walked off, Liam whispered, "This place is a bit posh innit?"

Amara nudged him, "Shut up. Remember why we're here and who we're here for." After that, she held his hand and basically dragged him around the shop.

There was a huge new collection, everything was brand new. Amara picked out some pink and purple baby clothes that looked adorable, she hoped Lisa would approve of everything. She could easily spend a fortune in here since everything was so cute, making her imagine if she could ever have a child of her own in the future. It was a wild thought, especially in a baby store whilst shopping for someone else's love baby. There were also many toys to choose from, like cuddly animals, teething toys and rattles that would most definitely get on Lisa's nerves. Amara didn't even know the woman yet, but even shaking it for a few seconds gave her a headache.

No thanks.

Amara wanted to make sure she would make a good first impression. She hated it when people didn't like her, but then again, she was afraid of going to over the top and seeming desperate. Although, with Liam's lack of enthusiasm, Lisa would probably need the energy coming from Amara as they reached the counter for pay.

"Your total will come up on screen shortly. Cash or card?" Josie smiled as other staff members were scanning and packing their items.

Amara didn't expect Liam to pay, taking her own card out of her purse to pay. But Liam had beaten her to it. Josie smiled when the payment went through, printing out a receipt and placing it on the counter towards them before going to collect their bags.

She looked up at him in surprise.

"Like you said, I've gotta make an effort 'aven't I?" He shrugged. She gave a small smile.

"I didn't mind payin'." She replied shortly.

Liam put his arm around her waist. "Mara, you don't need to spend a crap load of your own money on my kid to prove that you care. I already know that you do, trust me, I could see your face when you put all the shit in the basket."

She had to admit that he was right. Her face was full of nonstop glee when she chose each of the items, wanting things to be perfect like usual.

Rolling her eyes playfully, she took the light coloured bag from Josie. It was full of pink wrapping paper and there was quite a bit of weight to it. Amara thanked the woman before they left through the back entrance again. Liam took the bag from her when they walked to the car, opening the door for her before they drove to Lisa's place.
