Burning the candle

Yang, Alaska and Weiss have begin setting everything up for the dance while DJ, Cy, Coda and Six set up music equipment on stage. Keith oversees this all but is mostly focused on ruby who's distracted by Blake's conditions. She sits on a table staring into space. Weiss slams her hands on the table with two different clothes.

Alaska: Weiss she's not gon-

Weiss: I need you to pick a table cloth

She slides them closer to ruby completely ignoring Alaskaand ruby looks in confusion and raises her eyebrow before feeling them.

Ruby: aren't they both the same?

Weiss scoffs and grabs the clothes.

Weiss: I don't even know why I asked

Weiss walks away and ruby flops down on the table going back to thinking about Blake. Yang and Coda carry large speakers and Yang looks at ruby and puts her speaker on the ground before walking towards her.

Yang: So have you picked out a dress yet?

Ruby looks up at her sister with the same frowning face.

Ruby: what's the point, who cares about the dance If Blake isn't going

Coda walks up behind yang.

Coda: oh yeah because Blake is such a party animal.

He says rolling his eyes earning him a elbow to the gut from yang

Coda: jeez sorry, bad joke I get it

He says before walking away. Yang turns back to Ruby.

Yang: Don't worry, she's going. I already got Adam to talk to her.

Yang looks to her left and sees Weiss placing doilies on the table.

Yang: Weiss! I thought we agreed, No Doilies!

Weiss puts her finger up to yang's face causing her to take a step back.

Weiss: if I can't have doilies, you don't get fog machine.

Cy, Dj and Coda both glare at Weiss from the stage. They all hear the door open and look at it as Sun and Neptune walk in.

Neptune: Your dance is gonna have fog machines?

Weiss walks over and looks at Neptune with a hint of red on her face.

Weiss: we were thinking about it

Alaska just glares at the two before yang places her hand on his shoulder.

Neptune: That's pretty cool

Sun walks over shooting finger guns at everyone.

Sun: You guys all ready for dress up

Keith: God no, Professor Goodwitch is taking me shopping it's gonna be the worst.

Sun: get ready for a whole afternoon of fun dude.

Sun says sarcastically before laughing at his own joke.

Ruby: Keith's right, it's gonna be the worst.

Yang crosses her arms and smirks.

Yang: Laugh all you want, I'll be turning heads tomorrow night.

Coda turns to Cy and Dj and whispers.

Coda: she'll definitely be doing something to a head tomorrow night.

Coda winks, Dj and Cy just laugh before Coda gets hit by a microphone thrown by six

Six: You guys are disgusting
