Blake Belladonna was a girl with a troubled past. She tried to escape it but it always comes full circle. She always thought she could find someone she could trust but she was always wrong. Her worst regret was meeting Adam Taurus, at first she thought he was a strong person with a similar passion to protect and fight for the rights of the faunus and as time went on he became cold blinded by his rage and hatred. He became a monster and that pushed her away from the white fang and ultimately became one of the main reasons she left the white fang. She felt alone until she met her new friends at beacon. Most importantly a man named Adam Westlin. She was the first to accept her as a faunus and help her through that time. He also had insecurities of his own spanning back to the loss of his arm. She found comfort in him which is what scared her. She feared being attached to someone, she feared they would turn out the same and having this new adam having a severe life changing injury similar to Taurus made her wonder if he would end up the same way. She broke out of her thoughts looking at the book in front of her. The book had a yellow cover and was rather small. The book was titled "the art of peace", Adam had let her borrow it. The book seemed simple, it was written by a huntsman long ago. He seemed wise and talked about his experience and how to control one's emotions. As she read she saw a lot of how Adam acts in this book, both of them actually. She noticed that Taurus was exactly the same as the examples given by the huntsman on who not to be. Blake continued to read, until she got to a chapter titled "Mercy prevails over wrath", it had a sticky note attached seemingly a book mark with the letters R.G on it. She assumed Rick had read the book as well and that's the page he had left off on. She felt someone shake her and she looked up to see Weiss.

Blake: yes?

Weiss: I asked if you wanted tea and you just ignored me that's pretty rude.

Weiss huffed. Blake rolled her eyes

Blake: sorry, I was lost in this book

Weiss: that book is hardly educational, a bunch of philosophical ideology's that don't mix well in battle. Trust me Blake, if you were to use it in battle, you would die.

Blake looks back at the book then at Weiss.

Blake: maybe you're right, but It doesn't stop Adam from believing it and he usually seems like he knows what he's doing.

Weiss rolls her eyes.

Weiss: of course you would support your boyfriend.

Blake throws the book at Weiss.

Weiss: Hey!?

Blake giggles, Weiss picks up the book and throws it at Blake. It lands on her stomach and she grabs it before placing it down and moves to sit down on the edge of the bed as she grabs the book and sets it on her lap. She looks at it for a bit before picking it up and getting up to walk to the door.

Blake: I'm gonna return this to Aham, I'll be back soon.

She goes into the hallway looking at the book on more time before walking towards team Arcc's dorm. She opens the door, her eyes widen in surprise. She sees Adam without his prosthetic with his stump clearly visible, the skin has grown over it but the jagged form of it showed it was indeed not a pleasant experience. She closes the door to give him privacy, Adam notices this and goes to open the door.

Adam: hello Blake. Did you need something?

Blake seemed a bit flushed and embarrassed not being to say anything.
