A young farm boy with light brown skin was shoveling hay inside an old wooden barn in the anima country side, he began to groan slightly and held his head in pain as he began to see flashes of a boy in golden armor and an older male with grey hair, he looks over at a mirror hanging on the wall over a sink, he approaches it and examines his reflection with curiosity, seemingly not recognizing himself. He begins to hear the whispers of several disembodied voices and he looks around confused.

Boy: Hello?

He hears nothing and looks back at the mirror and examines himself once again.

Ozpin: Hello I am Professor Ozpin

The boy screams and falls down onto the pile of hay and looks around confused, the sound of an older woman is heard shouting from the house on the property.

Woman: Oscar, You better be careful with those tools!

*Xiao Long Household*

Coda was out in the yard, he was punching a sand filled punching bag while listening to music, he had been out there for an hour, he was dripping sweat and was red from the burning heat but yet he continued, punching the bag over and over again, channeling all of his frustrations into his punches. Soon the bag broke spilling sand onto the grass. Coda groans and rips the broken bag of the tree it was tied to and goes back inside to throw it away, he looks around the kitchen and sees no sign of Tai, so he goes back into the living where his whiskey was hidden under the couch the day before, he takes it out and drinks some but he stops once he hears Tai clearing his throat.

Tai: Come on I thought you better than this

Coda puts the cap back on the battle and puts on the coffee table before turning around to face Tai.

Tai: Look, I'm not a fan of people drinking in myself, well except Qrow you can't stop him from doing that, but you...

Tai sighs

Tai: Look, I know you've been through a lot these last few months, and I can't judge you from feeling that way, but you can't just drown yourself in alcohol because that just makes your problems hit you harder and they change you. Yang's going through a lot right now and the last thing she needs is an alcoholic husband and I'll be damned if I let my son-in-law become another Qrow.

Tai grabs the bottle of the coffee table and goes to the kitchen sink and pours it out before walking back into the living room where Coda was now sitting on the couch. Tai goes over and sits next to him.

Tai: I overheard your argument with her yesterday, if you would call that an argument. You handled it well, it's nice to how to calm your wife down and don't take it lightly, if you think Yang was bad you should've seen her mother.

Coda chuckles lowly but it was loud enough for Tai to hear.

Tai: I know you two are new to this whole marriage, so let me give you some advice. If one of you is hurting then the other has to be strong to help them through their problems. Your a strong kid Coda, not many people have the strength to do what you did to save my daughter and I know that can be pretty hard on you but as I said you have to be strong, it's your job to help her through this, do you understand me?

Coda says nothing and simply nods, Tai understands he won't get any other response from his son in law, so he decides to drop the topic completely, they sit in silence for a few seconds but are brought out by the sound of yang coming down the stairs.
