A/n: Welcome to We are stronger together volume 5, I'm happy to be here for the fifth volume. I'm not the best author and it's very clear but I'm glad to write my ideas down as I envision them in my head, it really helps for my mental health and for my dream of being a screenwriter.

Keith wakes up in the early morning inside a house that they would be staying at during their time in Mistral. He squirms past Neo and Ruby who both had a tight grip on him but he managed to get through without waking them up, he sits on the edge of the bed as he grabs his eye patch and prosthetic arm, he puts the arm on before sighing as he looks at himself in the mirror, he didn't know what to think of himself even worse he didn't know what his father would think of him when he'd see him later when they go to Haven.

Rustling is head behind him and he turns around to see ruby reaching her hand over to next to her trying to find Keith, once she realizes he isn't there she shoots up and looks around frantically before looking at him right in front of her

Ruby: What are you doing up it's early?

Keith: I don't know, i must've gotten used to it

Ruby: We're not out there y'know?

Keith: Doesn't mean we can let are guard down, we've still got people out to kill us

Ruby: insomnia is gonna kill us!

Keith: We're using big words now?

Ruby: Hey I know smart words!

Keith smiles and shakes his head

Keith: Saying "smart words" makes you sound like you shouldn't know them

Ruby huffs and crosses her arms while Keith just smiles and walks over to her and tries to kiss her on the forehead but she just snaps her head away.

Ruby: Nope, I'm not kissing you til you apologize

Keith: Apologize for what!?

Ruby: For being mean!

Keith: Will cookies making you feel better?

Ruby fakes gasps and puts her hands on your chest acting taken back

Ruby: How dare you try to tempt me with deliciousness

Keith: Want it or not? Because Nora and Cy are vacuums when it comes to eating, that and commando eats alot to keep his muscle, and neo's off the ice cream so she needs something sweet

Ruby: No I want them!

Ruby makes grabby hands and tries reach over for Keith before realizing something.

Ruby: Wait!? Where'd did you get cookies from we haven't gone anywhere since we got here? Wait a minute your bluffing!

Keith: Alright fine you've got me!

Keith raises his arms in the air while smiling

Ruby: Your under arrest Keith Marksman for bribing a huntress and calling her dumb

Keith: You won't take me alive ruby rose!

"Can you two shut up I'm trying to sleep"

A robotic voice is heard and they turn towards neo to see typing on a text to speech app on her scroll, she crossed her arms and huffed.

Keith: Sorry Neo, We were just playing around

Neo rolls her eyes and hops out of bed walking towards a chair in the corner where the three had their clothes, she took her clothes and walked out into the hallway, she turned back and began signing.
