End of the beginning

(Wow it's the last chapter of volume 3, I would have never thought I'd be here, trust me it took some time but I'm here now... I'd like to thank the people who inspired me, like the three people who read(no offense if it's more) and well I guess past me for getting off his ass, so without further ado, RWBY "We are stronger together" volume 3 finale)

In the dark corridor of beacon's vault, Cinder was fighting Ozpin and Keith with her fully unlocked maiden powers but Keith and Ozpin weren't going down easily, Keith channeled Onyx's power as well as his own while ozpin used his magic, the battle was intense and was clearly taking a toll on both parties. Keith tried his best to push cinder away with a fury of slashes powered by his semblance and other magic embedded into the blade, Cinder created a shield that blocked his attacks and blasted him back, giving ozpin and opening to whack cinder with his cane charged with magic knocking cinder back, due to her newfound power she recovers quickly and uses her semblance to shoot glass crystals at Ozpin who speeds up time around him to hit every single crystal all at once, In the meantime cinder rose up in the air and began to form a ball of energy around her using her powers to shoot a massive beam of energy at Ozpin, he creates a shield around him but it isn't impacted which confused him, he looks up and sees keith encased in a suit of golden knight armor holding back cinder's blast with a wall of plasma and black ash.

Keith/Onyx: I will not let you hurt him! I will not let you hurt anyone ANYMORE!

Keith shoots out a beam of golden energy that shines brightly, blinding both Cinder and Ozpin.

*Beacon's landing bay*

Just as they had planned, they managed to set up a safe zone in vale and now the citizens and students of beacon were being evacuated. Professor Port and Dr.Oobleck stood in the middle guiding everyone into the shuttles that would take them into vale.

Professor Port: Everybody on board, this an emergency evacuation!

Dr.Oobleck: a safe zone has been established in vale, please remain calm and listen to atlas personal!

Weiss and Alaska both run up to the landing bay in front of the other students and they both look in horror to see Blake, Yang and Adam all laying on the floor with heavy injuries. Weiss hears someone behind her and turns around to see her team leader hurrying over to her.

Weiss: Ruby!

Weiss and Ruby hug for a short moment before Ruby pulls away.

Ruby: I found you!

Weiss: Where were you?

Ruby: Don't worry I'm fine, what's going on?

Weiss bows her head before starting to sob, she grabs into Alaska for support. Ruby looks past Weiss and sees Commando comforting a Coda with burnt clothes standing over an injured Yang, Blake and Adam. Blake used the last of her strength to hold an unconscious Adam's hand while Coda held Yang's remaining arm while sobbing.

Coda: I'm so sorry....

He whispered as he ran his fingers through his wife's hair, he looks down in his palm and looked at his wedding ring knowing that Yang's was missing in the debris along with her right arm. Ruby tried not to cry and she desperately looked around for Keith.

Ruby: Where is he? Where's Keith?

Cri walks over and looks at her and shakes his head.

Cri: He and My brother have been gone for awhile, they left with Ozpin inside

Rick walks over and looks down at his team leader before looking up at the others.

Rick: It's best that we get them medical care, they have shuttles taking everyone back into Vale
