Of runaways and Stowaways

Blake found herself on a boat leaning on top of the railing staring at the ocean, she was jittery and disassociated after everything that had happened, The captain of the ship approaches her which catches her off-guard causing her to draw her weapon pointing at Captain, He puts his hands in the air showing her that he wasn't a threat.

Captain: Now Now, No threat here, I'm just here to chat

Blake puts her weapon away but still eyes the Captain with suspicion.

Blake: And why is that?

Captain: Well, not many people travel by boat on their own, it can be quite a lonely voyage, but i found those that do tend to have the more interesting stories

Blake: Well maybe it's just better for people to stay alone...

Blake suddenly jumps up when she hears the sound of children laughing and screaming as they ran past her, the captain catches this and simply chuckles.

Captain: Well Maybe, but with your paranoia, it could help to have a few friendly faces around.

Blake: WHO says I'm paranoid!?

Captain chuckles once again

Captain: No one dear, I'll leave you be

He walks away but before he does he looks back at Blake.

Captain: But uh fair warning, These trips can be awfully boring.

The captain finally walks off and Blake goes back to looking at the ocean for a short moment before taking off her bow, she looks at and contemplate throwing it overboard but it was the bow Adam had gotten her for the dance back at Beacon, She ultimately wraps it around her hand before sighing and leaving to her quarters. A few yards away at the front of the boat were two hooded figures with one of them staring at Blake as she walked away and the other reading a book.

*Xiao Long Household*

Yang and Coda were sitting on the couch watching the T.V, Yang was leaning her head on Coda's shoulders while they switched through different channels trying to find something watch but instead every channel was broadcasting the news and status about Vale with none of them being good. The last channel they see were broadcasting the status of what was happening with the white fang which showed a picture of Adam Taurus. Coda notices that his Wife was uncomfortable looking at the man that permanently scarred her, Coda sighs before turning off the T.V and going to grab a shot of whiskey from a bottle that he had bought when he went to the store earlier that week. The door opens behind them revealing Tai holding some shopping bags and a big box, Coda quickly hides the whiskey bottle under the couch cushions and they both turns around to look Tai.

Yang: Hey dad...

Yang voice was low and lacked the energy she once had which also reflected on the way that Coda acted which only had him giving Tai a small nod.

Tai: Guess what came in today!

Tai walks past them and enters into the kitchen with all the shopping bags, Coda joins him and helps him carry some of the stuff into the kitchen.

Tai: I can't wait for you to try this!

Yang: What?

Tai and Coda come back out with Tai holding the big box that he was carrying and he places it on the coffee table in front of her.

Tai: Well!?

Yang: It's for me?

Tai: For you and you only!

Yang examines the box and sees the Atlas symbol plastered on top, She opens the box revealing a shiny new robotic arm. Yang says nothing and simply stares at it with several emotions running through her head.
