It all comes out

Blake, Sun, Adam and Rick spent their entire day trying to get signatures for the fight to save haven academy, despite having the firepower and numbers from the otto militia, the point of blake looking for volunteers was to send a message to the white fang that the people that truly lead the faunus movement were the people that could speak for themselves without violence. Despite the putting in their best efforts nobody signed up for their cause much to their disappoint. Now the group sat on a table on the pier drinking coconut water to ease their worries.

Sun: I don't get it... How can people sit around and do nothing when the white fang are ready to attack?

Blake: Because not everyone is like us, the faunus here on menagerie the ones that weren't born on the island moved here because they were tired of fighting, of having to struggle constantly, This island is full of people who want to be left alone and here we are asking them to put the rest of the world before themselves

Sun: I guess i never really thought about it like that...

Adam: You rarely use your head sun, but the determination to help is what's keeping us afloat. It would be nice if the rest of the faunus had that same sense, i don't exactly think they know what'll happen to their reputation if Taurus succeeds in this scheme of his

Sun: Adam Taurus...

Sun looks over at Blake who's ear twitched a bit hearing his name

Sun: He was the guy you used to... "Work" with

Blake sighs

Blake: Yes...

Sun: Sorry, forget i brought it up

Blake: No it's okay... Have you ever met someone and thought to yourself that "they're the personification of this word"

Sun: Uhh...

Blake: Okay well...

Blake looks over at Adam and smiles at him before looking back at Sun.

Blake: Well i remember getting to know Adam and thinking that "this man is the embodiment of justice" or how i saw that Rick was "Law"

Sun: So what about me?

Rick: I gotta throw out "bashful"

Adam: Hardheaded is definitely a runner up

Sun: Hey!

Blake: Alright cut it out you three, All jokes aside... At first I thought taurus was the one who was "justice" then I thought he was "passion" but overtime I realized that he was spite, not hate, not rage. Spite. He won't accept equality, only suffering what he thought the world did to him and his way of thinking is dangerously contagious, that's what worries me about ilia, she's not like taurus... Not yet at least.. but i'm not sure how long that'll last

Sun: She was your friend huh?

Blake: She was... Her chameleon traits meant she could pass as human, she could've lived a normal life if she wanted but she didn't and that's what i admired that, she lost her family in a mining accident when she was young and then she joined the white fang, like me she was more or less trained on the road along side other faunus, she learned to survive and defend herself but when people like Sienna and Taurus gained a following she became more dangerous and i guess i did too, my parents treid to get me to leave with them but i refused, "i had taurus and ilia after all"

Adam: We can still save her, people are never too far gone

Blake: That's why i planning to help her like you two did to me

Sun: And what was that?

Blake: Sun you taught me that i should always be there when a friend needs me no matter how much they push you away... and Adam you taught and showed me forgiveness no matter who i was or what my story was with the white fang who had taken so much from. I was drowning in guilt and in fear, i tried pushing you all awhile but you didn't give up on me, so i won't give up on ilia, it's about time i saved my friend for once.
