Seated side by side on the plush couch, Soonyoung and Jihoon continued engaging in a casual conversation. Jihoon, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, began firing unexpected questions at Soonyoung. The latter's eyebrows shot up in surprise as he navigated through the unexpected queries, creating an atmosphere of amusement and friendly banter between the two.
They have been working together for a while and only now they engaged towards private life matters.
"Funny how u have been working with me for quite sometime and u just knew?" Jihoon said.
"Boss, i am more surprised than u are. I mean i know u are young but not this young?"
"So, we can be friends?"
"U want to be friends with me?"
"U don't want to?"
"Uhh, its not that. It's just felt..."
"Felt what? Awkward?"
"Kinda?"
"Well, if we cant really be friends, at least don't call me by "Boss" when its not working hour? U can address me by my name?" Jihoon requested.
"But, that would be un-"
"Unprofessional?"
Soonyoung nods lightly.
"Well, it isn't working hours anyways. & I believe u won't be calling me by name when we are at the office?"
"So, u want me to call u... Ji?"
"My friends usually call me Uji, but then they shorten it to Ji. I guess why not? So, u get called by Soonyoung as well?"
Hoshi scratches his unitchy head, "Uh well, i usually got called Hoshi by my friends."
"If i called u Hoshi, i'll be one of ur friends. Can i just call u mine?" Jihoon stated.
Soonyoung froze. He can feel his heart is going crazy with what Jihoon has said. He felt like he is about to pass out.
Jihoon lands a soft slap on his shoulder, "Yahh, Im just playing around. U don't have to be so serious."
Soonyoung sighs in relief, "Boss, don't play me like that."
