Background
At birth, Tenshi was abandoned by her parents and was found by a woman named Ryouko, an infamous criminal who's especially known for her gruesome murders. Ryouko is an SSS-ranked killer because of her tremendous nen and mastery of combat.
After Ryouko had "adopted" Tenshi, she had raised and trained her to be a killer (similar to Killua's childhood, except without any love), treating her cruelly and brutally, starting when Tenshi turned five.
As Tenshi got older, Ryouko fed her even the deadliest of poisons, abusing her night and day to the point where Tenshi had become immune to it. Because of the constant torture, she had gotten used to it, eventually becoming indifferent to the treatment.
This "training" lasted until Tenshi became the nonpareil murderer at the age of nine — a monster, to some. Even without using nen, she was capable of slaughtering nen-users.
Five years later, Tenshi finally ran away from her "home," the desire to explore the world very prominent. During her travels, she trained herself for another year, before getting interested in the Hunter Exam.
This is the story of how a 15-year-old pro-killer gets involved with the Hunters.
