Yoongi's POV :
Yoongi : " He's not answering my calls, hyung. This isn't working," I say, running my fingers through my hair in frustration. My heart races as anxiety courses through my veins. "He promised he would call after each class, but I haven't heard from him since morning."
Jin sighs, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
Jin :"Can you calm down, Yoongi? He's in school, not hanging out. He must be carried away with something. What could possibly happen to him in school? His phone is probably on silent anyway, so don't worry."
Jin's attempting to normalize the situation, but his words fall flat against my mounting concern. My jaw clenches as I shake my head firmly.
Yoongi : "No, I specifically told him to call me after each class. Something must be wrong." I pace back and forth across the café, my shoulders tense, fingers drumming nervously against my thigh. I can't stay still as worst-case scenarios flood my mind.
Yoongi : "What if something happened to him?" J-hope leans forward in his chair, his expression gentle but firm.
J-hope : "Hyung, I promise .. he's okay. Just wait until the end of the day and go pick him up then."
My patience snaps.
Yoongi : "No, I'm not waiting. I'm going right now." The thought of him in trouble sends a cold shiver down my spine. I can't waste another minute wondering. I grab my keys from the table, the metal digging into my palm as I clench them tightly, and storm toward the exit.
J-hope : " hyung ,, I promise .. He is okay , just wait till the end of the day and go get him "
Yoongi : " No .. I'm not , I will go right now " I can't wait till the end of the day .. what if he is in big trouble and can't call me .. I grabbed my keys and headed out of the Cafe ignoring their calls
Namjoon: " HYUNG!" Namjoon calls after me.
I ignore him, pushing through the café door and breaking into a run once outside. My breath comes in short bursts as I sprint to my car, driven by an urgency I can't explain.
Upon reaching his school, I head straight to the principal's office, my footsteps echoing loudly in the empty hallway. After getting directions to his classroom, I rush there, my heart hammering against my ribcage.
Through the classroom window, I finally spot him. There he sits, focused on the teacher's lecture, seemingly fine. But then I notice a boy beside him casually draping an arm over his shoulders. My blood boils, and my vision narrows. Didn't I specifically tell him not to let anyone touch him?
I knock sharply on the door, my knuckles turning white from the force. The teacher pauses mid-sentence, looking annoyed at the interruption. I request to speak with Jimin, my voice barely containing my anger.
When Jimin sees me, his eyes widen in terror. The color drains from his face as he realizes his mistake. I grab his wrist firmly and pull him toward the exit, not caring about the curious stares from his classmates.
Tears spring to his eyes as I drag him to my car. "Please let me go," he begs, his voice trembling, small hands trying to pry my fingers from his wrist. His shoulders shake with each sob, but my grip remains the same as overprotective self and possessiveness override any sympathy I might have felt.
****
I decided to wait for him here, parked outside his school. There's no way I'm going home without him. I suddenly realized I forgot to scold him about that boy who had his arm around his shoulder. I need to remind him about our rules again.
