Yun Hee's POV :

I tossed and turned all night, my mind racing with nervousness. Today was the day I would finally meet my boss, and my stomach was twisted in knots. The rumors I'd heard about him weren't helping my anxiety one bit. But I could handle this - I just needed to keep my distance and show him proper respect.

What was his problem anyway? Such an arrogant show-off. Did he think he owned the entire world? What was the big deal about accidentally brushing against him? It wasn't like I was dying to touch him, you ugly, stupid soul.

Now I found myself standing in front of his office door with Miss Mary, my hands shaking uncontrollably as she raised her knuckles to knock. When we heard that cold, commanding voice say "Come in," she pushed open the door. There he was, sitting behind his massive desk, completely absorbed in signing some papers. And there was Mr. Jungkook, standing loyally by his side like a guardian.

Miss Mary: "Sir, this is Yun Hee, your new secretary." She bowed slightly with practiced grace, and slowly, he lifted his face to look directly at me.

Yun Hee: "FUCK..." Oh my God, who on earth has a face like that?

Taehyung: "Excuse me?!" His voice cut through the air like a blade, and Miss Mary immediately pinched my hand hard, her nails digging into my skin as a warning.

Yun Hee: "I'm... I'm so sorry, sir. I swear I didn't mean to curse in front of you." I bowed so deeply that I was practically folded in half, my face burning with embarrassment as I apologized for my complete stupidity. But I swear, his face was like a masterpiece painted perfectly that came directly from heaven . Who wouldn't lose their mind looking at him?

Jungkook: "I guess we talked a lot about how you need to behave in this office, and I can believe it doesn't involve cursing in front of your boss." His tone was stern and disapproving, making me feel even smaller.

Yun Hee: "I'm sorry, Sir." My voice came out as barely a whisper.

Jungkook: "You'll have a three-day salary deduction. I hope this serves as a reminder for you to be more careful next time and take this job more seriously. We're not here to play games." His words hit me like a punch to the gut. Oh no, I had debts to pay. He couldn't do this to me.

Yun Hee: "But, sir..." I started to protest, desperation creeping into my voice.

Jungkook: "You have already met your boss, and by the end of the week, I expect you to be prepared to work professionally without any mistakes. You may take your leave." Miss Mary grabbed my arm firmly, practically dragging me out of the office before I could make things worse.

Miss Mary: "What's wrong with you? Why did you curse in there?" She hissed at me the moment we were out of earshot.

Yun Hee: "How could you not warn me before going in? You said he is ugly!" I shot back, my heart still pounding from the encounter.

Miss Mary: "I never said that. You assumed he was." She shook her head in disbelief.

Yun Hee: "You should have warned me that he is the most astonishingly handsome man on this planet. I needed to prepare my poor soul." Miss Mary couldn't help but chuckle at my dramatic declaration.

Miss Mary: "Your poor soul will now be working with that astonishingly handsome man, so you need to compose yourself, or you'll end up working for free the entire month, or worse, you could be fired." Her expression grew serious as she warned me.

Yun Hee: "I need to see his girlfriend. I bet she's the most exquisite woman alive." I was still trying to process what I had just witnessed.

Miss Mary: "She is not." She said flatly.

Yun Hee: "Don't tell me she's ugly! She can't be !! " My eyes widened in shock.

Miss Mary: "No, he's single. And can we please stop talking about your boss and focus on starting your training?" She was already busy preparing a folder on her desk, her movements efficient and businesslike.

Yun Hee: "How is it possible that he's single? Okay, what about his ex?" I couldn't let this go.

Miss Mary: "As far as I know, he has no ex. He's never been in a relationship. And enough of your childish questions. Time to work. Take this file and read it carefully. I need a report about all the meetings your boss has this week, the purpose of each meeting, and the things you need to prepare for each one." She handed me a thick folder, and I stared at it in panic.

Yun Hee: "But... I don't know how to prepare a report." My voice was helpless.

She handed me another file with a tired sigh.

Miss Mary: "This is a sample of how the report should look like. Try to follow the same steps, and we will discuss it after you finish."

Taehyung's Office...

Author's POV:

Taehyung leaned back in his chair, his fingers drumming anxiously on the desk surface. His jaw was clenched tight with frustration.

Taehyung: "Can you tell me now what possessed you to hire her? She had the audacity to curse the moment she laid eyes on me!" His voice was strained, and his hands were visibly shaking.

Jungkook: "I don't know what got into her, but I believe she was nervous. You know how it is for newcomers. And you also know how to handle employees. Just be as strict with her as you are with others, she'll never do anything to annoy you. Besides, one of us will always be here by your side. You just need to call us, and everything will be okay." Jungkook's voice was calm and reassuring, but his eyes were filled with concern as he watched his hyung struggle.

Taehyung: "You know... when I think back on all of this, I feel so foolish. How can a grown man like me be afraid of a girl? To be scared of a simple touch or a lingering gaze that I don't even know the meaning behind. I'm a fragile coward who can never see life through normal eyes." His voice cracked with emotion, and he buried his face in his hands.

Jungkook immediately moved closer, crouching down in front of Taehyung's chair and gently taking hold of his trembling hands.

Jungkook: "Why don't I see you the way you see yourself? Don't you realize how brave you are to face all of this and still stand here with us, working tirelessly? You give us the reassurance that everything will be okay, even when you need those same words whispered to you. This will end, your fear, your struggles. Nothing lasts forever, whether it's pain or happiness. Everything will eventually come to an end, including your pain."

Taehyung's eyes filled with unshed tears, his chest rising and falling with shaky breaths. His voice came out as barely a whisper.

Taehyung: "But what if it never ends? What if this fear consumes me until there's nothing left? I'm tired of pretending to be strong, Jungkook. I want to break free from this prison of anxiety." A single tear rolled down his cheek as he spoke.

Jungkook's grip tightened around his brother's hands, his own eyes glistening with emotion. His voice was filled with unconditional love and fierce determination.

Jungkook: "It will end, Taehyung. I won't let it consume you. We'll face this together, day by day, until you find the strength within yourself. And I promise you, one day, you'll look back and realize just how far you've come. You're not alone in this battle. We're here for you, always." He squeezed Taehyung's hands gently, his voice steady and full of conviction.
