Author's POV :

Taemin: "I know I'm your friend, but can you please stop talking about her for a while? I start to hate her already."

Since the moment Jimin arrived at school, he didn't spare Taemin a moment's rest as he kept talking nonstop about how amazing IU is , how caring she is , how unfair he was when he hated her at first without giving her a chance to prove herself .

Jimin: "YAAA!! You just hear me out for only three hours! It's not my fault that the classes got canceled, and I have an amazing mother now." Jimin grinned widely, and Taemin rolled his eyes at him as even when Jimin was protesting he didn't miss the chance to mention how amazing his newly found mother was.

Taemin: "Oh, so now she's your mother!! I wonder who hated her so much for 'stealing' his lovely hyung." Jimin playfully hit his shoulder.

Jimin: "I'm not talking to you; I'll find another friend. " He frowned and turned to look away, no longer acknowledging his friend. Taemin pulled him to look at him again

Taemin: "Stop being childish ... I'm so happy that you finally found the family you were looking for.. It's just so weird to switch your feelings this fast " Jimin immediately turned back to him, eager to continue his non-stop talking that had started in the morning.

Jimin: "I already had this family since the moment I met my hyungs. They made me feel like I belong to them. But with Noona, it feels like it's all complete—the motherly touch and love. I just can't believe I have all this. I feel like I'm the luckiest kid on earth."

Taemin smiled at his innocent friend. Despite the hardships he had faced, he still had a light side into his soul.

Taemin: "You deserve this, Jimin. Now, can we stop this and go have our lunch? The next class isn't canceled, so I need to recharge my energy. You've consumed it all, you sucker of humane souls." Taemin stood up carrying his bag .. Jimin jumped wrapping his arm over Taemin's shoulder in excitement

Jimin: "Noona already prepared a lunchbox for me, and she made your lunch too. Look!" He grabbed his bag and took out the lunchbox.

Taemin: "Can she adopt me too?" Jimin burst into laughter. Pushing him away lightly

Jimin: "Noway , she's mine, but I can share her food with you. But only her food." Taemin rolled his eyes at his friend possessiveness

Taemin: "You possessive psycho."

IU: "I guess you no longer drink hot chocolate, so I prepared some coffee for you." IU knocked on Jungkook's door, holding a cup of coffee in her hand.

He was surprised to see her in his room. Since she came back, Yoongi didn't like him interacting with her, so he had been avoiding her to avoid angering his hyung. He was already content with her being there with them.

She stepped in when he didn't say anything , placing the cup on the table in front of him and sat beside him ..

IU: "I know you're studying for your exams, so I thought you might need something to help you focus." She looked at him but he kept looking in front of him .. he remained silent.

She was about to place her hand on his shoulder but he stirred in his place .. standing up immediately .. like he is keeping a safe space between them ..

She smiled sadly, looking at him. When he was trying to avoid meeting her eyes

IU: "I know you want my hug, Jungkook. Or should I say Kookie !! I know you're holding back because Yoongi doesn't like us being touchy. But Kookie!! You were my first child. I experienced my motherly emotions first with you. Even though I was just 20, I felt this with you. And I'm not doing anything behind Yoongi's back now. You know how much I love him and how much he gets jealous. Most importantly, you know how much he trusts you. He just doesn't want to see this. I can assume that when Jimin gets a body like yours when he's your age, he'll be bothered by me hugging him." She chuckled, but Jungkook looked at her with his doe eyes. Deeply hurt yearning for the woman that he considers his mother ..

Jungkook: "So... can I... can I hug you?" She smiled softly and spread her arms wide inviting him into a warm hug

He gave in this time , she stood up trying to step on her tiptoes to engulf his large figure in her arms. But she failed and he still beat her height .. she patted his back .. that's when he broke into a longing set of cries.

IU : " shhhhh , i'm sorry for everything Kookie " he pulled her more tightly to him

Jungkook : " Why did you leave us ,Noona !! I missed you so much , Whatever the reason was .. I never blamed you , I just didn't know what I did wrong to not be enough for you to stay " this time IU was the one to tear up, when she decided to leave .. the idea that clouded her mind was all about Yoongi and how he will hate her .. but she never thought Jungkook will think badly about himself "

she pulled back of the hug and held his face in her palms ..

IU : " No .. You are my precious kid , I did not leave cause I wanted to , I had been forced to do this .. but I will never again .. please don't think that i don't love you Kookie , I care about you so much "

She was about to hug him again but he stopped her searching her face with anger in his eyes

Jungkook : " Who forced you Noona ?! Tell me and i will make his life a living hell " she pulled out of his hold and hit his chest with a warning in her eyes

IU : " Not because you are looking like a hulk and a giant so you will act as a mafia , You are still a kid in my eyes , Don't make me worry about you acting like this " He chuckled wiping his tears as she turned to the mother figure he used to back then ..

Jungkook : " Noona , That fact that I still needs you not keep me a kid till now , If you knew what i did when you weren't here you will not say that at all " Her eyes widened and she pulled his ears making him kneel in front of her meeting her height

IU : " And being your mother won't let you do anything would put you in danger .. So behave as you should" Jungkook struggled to get out of her hold

Jungkook : " aaaaah Noona !! it hurts .. Okay okay .. I won't " she pointed at his face with her finger warning him then she let him go

IU : " You better be .. And don't worry the one who forced me was my adoptive father and he already died " He rubbed his ear to ease the pain

Jungkook : " Good for him .. I never loved him anyway .. He took you away from us " she chuckled

IU : " Okay .. anyway ,I guess you've been studying really hard, huh? How are your exams going?" She sat on his desk flipping between the papers he was studying ..

Jungkook: "I'm doing fine with it .. I guess. I've been trying my best." She raised her eyes to meet his .. like she was searching about something she knows it was there

IU: "Jungkook. What about your talent ?! Did you go on with it ?? ever since I first saw you perform. You have this incredible passion and drive that inspires me." He broke eye contact .. like she mentioned something he was ignoring in propose ..

She stood up holding his arm forcing him to face her

IU : " Jungkook !! What happened ? " He inhaled a long breath .. It was hard to share that he gave up long time ago ..

Jungkook : " I .. couldn't , you weren't there in the audience anymore , how can i do it " she felt a stab in her heart .. She was the reason for another damage to this family .. she cupped his cheek looking him in the eyes

IU : "I'm sorry Jungkook .. We will start this again ,Your main fan came back and i'm not letting you talent to go in vain " his eyes filled with tears

Jungkook : "thank you for coming back to me , Noona " She smiled softly

IU : " Thank you for waiting and forgiving me Kook"
