Author's POV :

Yoongi: "Are you okay with this?"

Her eyes sparkled with certainty, a soft smile spreading across her face.

IU: "Sure, Yooni. You love him, so I will."

Yoongi smirked and pulled her by her tiny waist, drawing her closer until their bodies pressed together.

Yoongi: "Someone here is totally whipped for me, hmmm!!"

She hit his shoulder playfully, her cheeks flushing with warmth.

IU: "Hey, don't tease me! You know if you're in something, I'm going to follow you blindly. The time didn't change anything in my heart for you, Yooni."

He leaned down, capturing her lips in a soft, tender kiss that spoke of years of longing.

Yoongi: "The same here, love... My heart is totally the same. But there are some changes that we need to compensate with."

She frowned slightly, looking up at him with confusion clouding her features.

IU: "What do you mean?!"

A mischievous glint appeared in his eyes as he tightened his grip on her waist.

Yoongi: "If it was before, you would be screaming my name at the top of your lungs all night."

Her face turned crimson at his bold statement, embarrassment washing over her as she squirmed in his grasp, trying to free herself.

IU: "Yoooooniii!!! Stop!"

He chuckled warmly, leaning down to place a gentle kiss on her heated cheek.

Yoongi: "Okay, okay... I'm sorry... But right now... as long as I want to do what I said... the kid in the other room can be scary when he's mad, so I need to spend the night with him."

Her expression softened at the mention of Jimin. She adored how Yoongi cared for him, finding warmth in knowing that Yoongi had found someone who could bring out his soft side when she wasn't there for him.

IU: "I know. Don't worry... You can go to him."

Yoongi's eyes searched hers, wanting to make sure she truly understood.

Yoongi: "You know it won't be just tonight. He can't sleep without me every night."

She nodded with an understanding gesture, her smile genuine and accepting.

IU: "I know."

Pulling her into a tight embrace, he buried his face in her hair, inhaling the scent he'd missed for so long.

Yoongi: "I promise... I'll find a way to give you the time you need. I missed you so much."

His arms tightened around her, trying desperately to compensate for all the years he couldn't hold her.

IU: "I know you will. Now... go to your kid. I need to go."

He pulled back abruptly, frowning in confusion.

Yoongi: "Where?!"

IU: "Home, love!!"

His expression hardened, his voice rising slightly with emotion.

Yoongi: "You already are back home, babe. You're not going back to your adoptive family."

She gently extricated herself from his hold, stepping back to look at him properly.

IU: "Yooni!! What are you saying?! Okay, I know what he did was unforgivable, but my mother is sick... she needs me."

He reached for her again, pulling her back into the safety of his arms, his tone softer but still firm.
