Jungkook's POV:

We're all sitting around a table in the hospital cafeteria. The air feels heavy, like we're all struggling to breathe normally. Jin hyung looks terrible. His face is pale, his eyes hollow. What happened has destroyed something inside him. It's hard to wrap my mind around it—Jin hyung, who lectures us for swatting flies, who gets upset when we talk about fighting, was the one who didn't hesitate to take a man's life. But it wasn't just any man—it was the monster who hurt Yoongi hyung and destroyed Jimin's world.

Taehyung leans toward Jin hyung, his voice gentle but desperate.

Taehyung: "Hyung, please calm down. Everything will be okay. Time will heal everything, you'll see."

Jin hyung looks up, and the pain in his eyes hits me like a physical blow. His hands shake as he wraps them around his untouched coffee cup.

Jin: "I just can't, Tae. The moment keeps replaying in my head relentlessly. How can I move on from this? It's not working. I just want to go to the police and face the punishment I deserve."

My stomach drops at his words. Namjoon's face darkens instantly, his jaw tightening with anger and fear.

Namjoon: "No, you are not doing this, Jin. We will deal with it the way it is. I'm not arguing with you about this, hyung."

His voice sounds different—harder than I've ever heard it. But I understand. The thought of Jin hyung turning himself in makes me feel sick. That man deserved what happened to him. He tried to kill Yoongi hyung. He broke Jimin in ways we're only beginning to understand. If Jin hyung hadn't stopped him, who knows what other horrible things he would have done to us, to our family.

I swallow hard, finding my courage to speak.

Jungkook: "Hyung, please, we can't go on without you. We are all here for you, and that man got what he deserved. Don't burden yourself with guilt. We need you."

My voice cracks on the last words. The thought of losing Jin hyung too is unbearable.

Jin hyung's face twists with emotion. Suddenly, he slams his hand down on the table so hard our cups jump. The sound echoes through the cafeteria, making people at other tables turn and stare.

Jin: "BUT I DON'T DESERVE TO FEEL THIS SHIT! I JUST CAN'T!"

He stands up so fast his chair nearly falls over, then storms out of the cafeteria. I know he's heading to Yoongi hyung's room. There's a moment of stunned silence at our table. J-Hope's face is drawn with worry as he breaks the quiet.

J-Hope: "What are we going to do? This is too much for him to handle, and I can't trust that he won't do what he said."

Namjoon runs a hand over his face, looking suddenly exhausted, but his eyes are determined.

Namjoon: "I will make sure he won't, don't worry. Right now, we need to help Yoongi hyung through this and support Jimin, who is in immense pain. We also need to address the new trauma that Jin hyung is going through. I swear, if that man were still alive, I would kill him again."

The raw hatred in Namjoon's voice surprises me, but I feel the same burning anger inside me too.

Taehyung tries to lighten the mood, though his eyes are red-rimmed and wet.

Taehyung: "We can do this. Everything will be okay as long as we are together."

We keep talking, our voices sometimes dropping to whispers, sometimes rising with emotion. Tears fill my eyes as I listen to everyone share their fears. Hobi wipes his face with his sleeve. Taehyung's lip trembles as he speaks. Namjoon keeps clenching and unclenching his fists under the table. The weight of everything—Yoongi hyung's injury, Jimin's trauma, Jin hyung's guilt—it all feels so heavy, like it might crush us. But looking around at these faces, these brothers who would do anything for each other, I know we'll find a way through. We have to. We're family.
