The Sapphire Soldier

Part 5

I watched Steve, Sam and Bucky's car pull up. We all jumped out of the van once they were parked

"Thanks for coming" Steve tells Clint
"Hey man, you're doing me a favor. Besides, I owe a debt." Clint said pulling me out of my thoughts
"Thanks for having my back." Steve thanks Wanda and I
"It was time to get off my ass." I smile
"What about our other recruit?" Steve asks
"He's ready to go." Clint said moving to the van
"Had to put a little coffee in him, but..." He said opening the door for us to see Scott Lang asleep. Once the van door clicks he jumps awake
"He should be good." Clint adds
"What timezone is this?" He asks tired
"Come on. Come on." Clint said pushing him out
"Captain America." He said shaking Steve's hand
"Mr. Lang." Steve said with a nod
"It's an honor." Scott said as he kept shaking his hand.
"I'm shaking your hand too long." He said letting go finally.
"Wow! This is awesome! Captain America." He says then turns to Wanda and I
"I know you both, too. You're great!" He told us and we give him a smile
Even though we just road in the same van for I don't know how many hours we didn't actually meet. He was asleep the whole time and didn't know anyone else was even in the van.
"Jeez. Ah, look, I wanna say, I know you know a lot of super people, so... thinks for thanking of me." He stumbles over his words and I let out small laugh under my breath
"Hey, man!" Scott says to Sam
"What's up, Tic Tac?" He says
"Uh, good to see you. Look, what happened last time when I..." Scott started
"It was a great audition, but it'll. it'll never happen again." Sam says and I try my best not to cry with laughter
"I'm so gonna use that against you one day" I say into Sam's head
"Who told you?!" He asks back
"Nobody" I smile

"They tell you what we're up against?" Steve asks scott
"Something about some... psycho-assassins?"
He says
"We should get moving." Bucky says from behind the car.
"Got a chopper lined up." Clint says.
Just then a small alarm goes off.

"Dies ist eine Notsituation. Alle Passagiere müssen den Flughafen sofort evakuieren." The announcer says over the speaker.
"They're evacuating the airport." Bucky and I said at the same time.
"Stark." Sam says
"Stark?" Scott asks
"Suit up." Steve tells us

Steve and I jogged out to the runway but before we could get any further Tony and Rhodey landed in front of him.

"Hear me out, Tony. That doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this." Steve tried to tell him
Then some black cat suit guy leaped over and landed on the ground.
"Your highness." Steve greated
"Who the fuck is that?" I ask a little louder than I meant too
Everyone looked at me
"Language" Steve harshly whispers to me 
Tony whisper something to him as we were talking
"You've got the wrong guy." Steve said
"And there are five more super soldiers just like him. I can't let the doctor find them first, Tony. I can't." Steve tells them. Then nat walks out behind Steve and I.
"You know what's about to happen. Do you really want to punch your way out of this one?" She asks us
"I mean I rather do that then be put in another cage" I shrug
Tonys sighs
"Alright I've run out of patience. Underoos!" He yells and a blue and red blur flys over us grabs Steve's shield and webs up our hands
Ok now who the fuck is that?!
He lands in a pose before Tony says
"Good job kid" he tells them
Kid huh
"Thanks, you know I could've stuck the landing a little better it's just, new suit. Wait it's nothing Mr.stark. It's perfect, thank you" he says
He sounds my age, maybe 15
"Yeah we really don't need to start a conversation" Tony tells him
"Ok. Cap-captain" he salutes
"Big fan I'm Spider-Man" he says
"Holy shit your THE sapphire soldier! Holy crap! You're amazing by the way, your powers I don't understand like there so co-" he goes off before Tony interrupts him again
"Yeah yeah ok do the talking and fan girl stuff later. Good job" he tells him
"You've been busy." Steve said
"And you've been a complete idiot" Tony tells him
"Dragging Clint into this, taking Wanda and Elizabeth from a place they didn't want to leave, a safe place!" He starts
"I'm trying to keep!!- I'm trying to keep you from tearing the avengers apart" he says
"You did that when you signed." Steve told him
"Ok. You're going to turn Barnes over and you're going to come now! Cause it's us! " He yells but I zone out on the rest because I hear Sam say
"We found it. The quinjets in hanger 5 north runway" he tells us
Steve raises his hands
And clings arrow shoots cutting the webs off as I also use my powers to easily escape
"Woah" I hear Spider-Man say
"Alright Lang." Steve says and Scott turns big and kicks Spider-Man getting Steve's shield back
"I believe this is yours, Captain America." He says proud
Then all hell starts to break loose
As I'm fighting I run over to Clint and Wanda.
Tony was quick to follow shooting missiles in front of us causing us to stop running

"Wanda, I think you really hurt Vision's feelings." Tony said
"You locked us in our rooms." She told him angrily
"Okay. First, that's an exaggeration. Second, I did it to protect you." Wanda and I both tilt our heads
"No. You only did what's best for you" I say glaring at him
"Hey, man." Clint greets him
"Clearly, retirement doesn't suit you. You got tired of shooting golf?" Tony asks
"Well, I played 18 shot 18. Just can't seem to miss." Clint says before shooting a arrow at him which he dodges then blows it up
"First time for everything." Tony sassed back
"Made you look." Clint smirks
With a flick of our wrists Wanda and I pulled cars out of the garage behind him. Quickly covering him before we walked off.
"On to the next pair" i laugh before flying off to same and Bucky

Sam was flying trying to avoid the spandex guy. I saw Bucky throw a large sign at him
"Hey buddy, I think you lost this!" The kid say before throwing at him
I quickly caught it using my powers. As I do I jump down from where I was
"Woah..." I heard the kid mumble
Bucky nods a thanks at me as Sam kicks the kid down off the metal beam.
I watch them fight for a bit before he knocks both of them down and webs them up, then he webs me up as I'm standing there
"Huh not bad kid" I say
"Wha- oh well thank you. Wait- kid? Aren't you my age?" He asks
"Well I mean technically no technically yes there's a lot that goes into it. I'm a package deal what can I say" I shrug
"Are you on his side or ours Elizabeth?!" Sam yells from downstairs still webbed up
"Guys, we look. I'd love to keep this up but I've got one job here today and I gotta impress Mr.
Stark, so, I'm really sorry." He rants
I use my powers to cut the webs off
He aims his hands back at me before I take control of his hand
"Hey wait-" he starts to say but I throw him out the window
"Wwahhhh!" He screams as he falls

I jump down and use my powers to take the webs off of them this time
"You're welcome." I sassed
"You couldn't have done sooner?" Bucky asks
"No I was enjoying seeing you both get beat up by a kid" I laugh
"Whatever" they both mumble as we start to run off to go find Steve

"Come on!" Steve waves
A laser beams in front of us making us quickly stop. We look up to see Vision with his mind stone glowing
"Captain Rogers. I know you believe what you're doing is right." He says as the others start to join him
"But for the collective good you must surrender now." He tells us
"What do we do Cap?" Sam asks
"We fight." He said
"This is not how I thought my week would go" I mumble
Both teams started walking towards each other, the walk quickly turned into a job which quickly turned into a full sprint.

When I tell you all chaos broke out, I mean, ALL of it did.

"We gotta go. That guy's probably in Siberia by now." Bucky said over comms
"We gotta draw out the flyers. I'll take Vision.
You get to the jet." Steve tells us
"No, you get to the jet! Both of you! The rest of us aren't getting out of here." Sam said
"As much as I hate to admit it, if we're gonna win this one, some of us might have to loss it." Clint said over comms.
"This isn't the real fight, Steve."  Sam tells him

This whole conversation I had been fighting vision. And it was getting exhausting, i was holding him with my magic but he had some how phased through when i let go for a split second then punched me hard in the face.
I wasn't sure if i was unconscious or not at this point. I slowly started getting up to see Scott as a giant. Now I'm really not sure if I'm conscious
"I guess that's the signal." Steve says
"Way to go, Tic Tac!" Sam yells

As I finally stood up I saw Steve and Bucky making a run for the quinjet.
I looked up to see vision phasing through Scott and blast the watch tower next to the quinjet trying to block the entrance.

It was quickly wrapped in red magic I looked over to see Wanda struggling to keep it up.
I started running over to help her but she was blasted with some high volume thing and let's go of the watch tower to cover her ears

From where I was I grabbed it again in place of Wanda. Steve looks back at me before continuing to run.
Every second I hold it up the more exhausted I become.
They were almost there. Just a few more seconds I was telling myself before a small bomb went off beside me sending me flying.
I laid on the ground looking up as I saw the quinjet take off.
Black dots slowly covering my vision as I see someone falling from the sky.
With the last bit on energy I have left I try to catch them or at least slow them down.
They hit the ground and I let go of my powers.

At least they made it. I say to myself before everything goes black
