Peter had told me the whole plan with how he was going to show up to Liz's party and the whole thing with spider man. I told him it was the most stupidest idea he has ever had and not to do it. Of course he wasn't listening and said he was going to do it anyway.
I stayed home from the party. Party's aren't my thing, to many people in to small of a place.
I was sitting on my bed reading when I got a call from Peter "Hey Peter what's up?" I ask "Hey yeah I'm good- no no I'm not good! I'm being shot at by space laser things!!!" He yells through the phone "What?! Where are you?" I ask
I throw on a hood and mask quickly to try and hind my face as I take off flying to where Peter was. Once I was almost there I heard a scream. It was Peter. Ahhh where are you Peter?! I use my powers to sense where he is and fly as quick as possible. At the last second I see him hit the water covered in a parachute.
I was about to fly into the water but Tony came flying down into the water to grab him. He flys back out and I follow him till he sets Peter down I wait for him to fly off not wanting to get in trouble for being here. But once he does I come running out "Peter!!" I yell "Elizabeth?!" He yells back I run over and hug him "Are you ok?" I ask him "Yeah yeah I'm good. There was this guy, he looked like a vulture. He picked me up and flew me really high and then dropped me. I got stuck in my parachute but luckily Tony got me out of the water" he starts speaking really fast "Ok ok so new villain guy is what I'm hearing right?" I ask him "Yeah yeah" he breathes out.
We start to walk back and I decide to break the silence "What did Tony say?" I ask "Uhh basically told me not to go after him and to stay and I quote just a friendly neighbor spider man" he tells me I bust out in laughter "That sounds like Tony" I say "Yeah-" but he stops I look to where he is looking to this this purple glowing thing on the ground We both walk over to it and pick it up "Woah" Peter mumbles "What in the tar nation is that?" I ask Peter turns to look at me "I have no clue what you just said" he tells me I just roll my eyes as Peter phone starts to ring
"Hey, man, what's up? I'm on my way back." He tells ned "Actually, I was calling to say maybe you shouldn't come. Listen to this." Ned tells him "When I say penis, you say Parker. Penis!" Flash yells in the microphone "Parker!" The crowd yells back "Penis!" He says again "Parker!" They all repeat again I close my eyes feeling absolutely horrible for Peter "Sorry, Peter. I guess we're still losers. I'll see you tomorrow." Ned said before hanging up
Peter put his other clothes back on top before walking into the apartment building. We get into the elevator and we get to my floor. I walk out as Peter says "I'll see you at school" he tells me "Yep" I say but stop and turn putting my hand on the elevator to keep it from closing "And for the record, I don't think you're a loser" I smile at him then walk off to my door
I couldn't stop smiling as I laid down. What are you doing to me Peter Parker
The next day a made my way down to the lab after school because Peter said we were looking at the thing we found yesterday.
"Find anything out?" I ask walking up "Nothing, we just got the power source thing out" Peter tells me as Ned just stares at me "Does she know?" He asks Peter "Yeah, I told her" he says quietly "Liar. I figured it out thank you very much" I tell Ned "How did you-" he starts to say "Because she's actually the-" Peter starts to say cutting off Ned "The best detective there is" I say cutting off Peter "That's so cool" Ned says in awe
"What the hell are you thinking?!" I ask Peter in his head Peter jumps and looks at me the at ned "You ok man?" Ned asks "Oh no yeah I'm fine. Thought I heard something" he tells him
"Ok maybe a heads up next time you do that" Peter says in his head "Waitttt you can talk to people through thoughts?! That is so cool" he says "Yeah sure whatever. But why would you tell Ned who I was?!" I ask "Uhhh I don't know I just thought because he knew who I was it was fine" he shrugs "No it's not fine! I'm basically a wanted criminal at the moment I don't need anyone else knowing who I am" I tells him "Oh yeah I forgot about that part. Sorry" he tells him.
"First, I say we put the glowy thing in the mass spectrometer." Ned says as we walk down the hallway "First, we gotta come up with a better name than 'glowy thing'." Peter adds Two guys walk around the corner in front of us and Peter quickly jumps behind a wall "Hey, that's one of the guys that tried to kill me." Peter whispers to us as Ned and I just stand there. We both awkwardly walk behind the wall hiding as well "Actually?!" Ned asks him "Yeah" he answers "We gotta get out of here" Ned says "Ok can yall stop. You do realize, he was in a fully body suit when they saw him. They have no clue who he is. They also have no clue who we are" I say confused of why we are hiding "Fair point" Peter says "I gotta follow them" he adds "They might be able to lead me to the guy that dropped me in a lake." Peter tells us "Someone droppped you in a lake?" Ned asks "Yeah, it was not good." He tells him Peter starts to make his way over towards the men "I'm leaving" I mumble to Ned But before he can turn around I'm gone. I'm technically not gone but I got into his head to make me "disappear" as you say.
I follow Peter into the room and do the same thing with the two guys and Peter.
I see Peter sneak a tracker on them before they walk back out. I let go of my magic Peter was about to scream but I covered his mouth "Can you not do that?!" He whispers to me "Uhh no" I say
Peter called me a little later to tell me they stopped moving in Maryland. I told him to just wait it out for now because there was nothing we could do. Plus I was about to leave for the Washington trip.
I gave my bag to them person putting them in the bus before walking to the door. But before I could I hear someone speak up "Hey, it's Peter." Abraham says "Guys." Peter said as he jogged over "Peter?" Liz asks confused on why he was here I wasn't even listening to the rest of the conversation. I knew what Peter was thinking. And it was another stupid idea
I'm sitting next to Peter on the bus as he's on the phone with happy "Nothing. Look, it's just the Academic Decathlon. It's no big deal." Peter tells him
"You're in big trouble you know that" I say as he hangs up the phone "What are you talking about?" He asks "I don't have to be a mind reader to know what you are thinking" I tell him "Alright look I promise it won't take long. I'll be in and out, and I'll still make it to the competition" he tells me "Whatever you say" I mumble
Once we got to the hotel I get into my room with MJ. we get ready for bed but I quickly send Peter a text before going to bed "Don't do anything stupid" I text him But of course no answer.
