"Report to you stations immediately. This is not a drill. We are under attack. We are under attack." I heard a voice yell over the speaker The whole Hydra compound shook again
I listened in to all the conversations from my cell trying to see what's going on "Who gave the order to attack?" Strucker asks angrily "Strucker, sir. it's the Avengers." The man answered him stuttering over his words "They landed in the far woods, the perimeter guards panicked." The man said "Can we hold them?" Stucker asked "They're the Avengers.." He said "Deploy the rest of the tanks. Concentrate the fire on the weak ones. A hit can make them close ranks." Strucker said
"We will not yield!" Strucker yells "The Americans sent thier circus freaks to test us. We will send them back, in bags. No surrender!" He yells again "No surrender!" The soldiers repeated Then I heard Pietro say something in his head "I know you're listening. You feel up to it?" Pietro asks me "Up to what exactly?" I ask him "To go out there and fight them" Pietro tells me "As long as we get out of here, yeah" I tell him "Good" he says
I hear the door of my cell open before I fill myself get picked up and speed out the door "Maybe a warning next time you do that Pietro!!" I harshly whisper He just puts his hands up in surrender "Alright, let's go" Pietro smiles "Stick with me Liz" Wanda says "You know I can handle myself. I'm 99 years old" I shrug "Being 99 years old is not a excuse" she laughs "Ahh whatever" I tell her
I follow Wanda till we hear Captain America talking to Strucker "right under illegal human experimentation." He says threateningly. "How many are there?" He asks him before Wanda shoots magic at his stomach sending him down the stairs. Wanda quickly walked back and I slammed the doors shut
We made are way down to the basement where the scepter was When I get there I see Tony stark standing in front of it "Thor I got eyes on the price." Tony Stark says I snuck up behind him and used my powers to get inside his head. I stepped back and watched his fear from the shadows.
Tony shook his head and slowly turned around to see the giant Chitauri Leviathan that was hung from the ceiling come to life roaring. He turns around to see all of the Avengers dead on the floor. Beads of sweat run down his face as he watched his friends. Tony leant over Steve feeling for a pulse. Then suddenly Steve jumped to life grabbing Tony's wrist. "You could've saved us." He breathed out before taking his last breath "Why didn't you do more?" Steve's voice rang in Tony's head. Tony looked up at the Chitauris releam listening to the roaring get louder and louder before he woke up from the vision.
I watched Tony snap out of the dream as both of our eyes went back to their normal color.
Tony just stared at the scepter, trying to figure out what happened. Confused he looked up at the monster hung from the ceiling.
Pietro sped up behind us about to go up to Stark but I put my hand up stopping him. Tony threw his arm out waiting his suit. "We're just gonna let them take it?" Pietro asks us
We watched as he grabbed the scepter looking at it with a proud look. I let a smile grow on my face, knowing that his fear would end up controlling him.
Wanda Pietro and I were both walking in a small town after finally leaving Hydra.
"So why exactly did we let him take it?" Pietro asks "His fear will control him. i saw it" I tell him "Alright I believe it. You know I have a question for you Liz" he says "Yes?" I say "Why were you fighting against the avengers today? I mean you don't have anything against them like us" Pietro asks me "I don't have anything specific against them no, I just have a problem with all types of organization. Don't have the best history so I'm not taking any chances" I shrug "That's fair" Wanda says
A little boy runs up to us three times "In the church. He's waiting for you" he says then runs off We all three just look at each other before making are way to the church
Once we walked in we saw someone sitting in a chair facing away from us
"Talk. And if you are wasting our time..." Wanda says "Did you know this church is in the exact centre of the city?" The figure asks "The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to god. I like that. The geometry of belief." He kept going. Wanda keep taking steps forward trying to look into his head
"See if you can look inside his head." Wanda said to me in my head. I took a few steps forward trying to look in his head. I saw a flash but it was so quick I couldn't make out what it was. He was locking us out. How?
"You're wondering why you can't look inside my head." He said "Sometimes it's hard. But sooner or later, every man shows himself." Wanda said
The man stood up turning towards us. The blanket falling off of him revealing to us he was a robot. "Oh, I'm sure they do." He said All three of us took a step back upon seeing him "But you needed something more than a man. That's why you let Stark take the scepter." He said to me "I didn't expect this... But I saw Stark's fear, I knew it would control him, make him self-destruct." I say "Everyone creates the thing they dread. Men of peace create engines of war, invaders create Avengers, people create... smaller people? Uh... children! I lost the word there. Children. Designed to supplant them, to help them... end." He tells us "Is that why you've come? To end the Avengers?" Pietro asks "I've come to save the world. But also, yeah." He answered
He led us to a abandoned building where we were met with many many more bots "This is a start, but there's something we need to begin the real work." Ultron told us "All of these are.." Wanda starts to ask "Me. I have what the Avengers never will. Harmony." He says "They're discoordinated, disconnected. Stark's already got them turning on each other. And when you two get inside the rest of their heads..." he continues "Everyone's plan is not to kill them." Pietro speaks up "And make them martyrs? You need patience. Need to see the big picture." He said floating down in front of us. "I don't see the big picture. I have a little picture. I take it out and look at it every day." Pietro said sadly "You lost your parents in the bombings. I've seen the records." Ultron says "The records are not the picture." Pietro adds "Pietro." Wanda said grabbing his arm "No, please." He said "We were ten years old, having dinner, the four of us. When the first shell hits, two floors below, it makes a hole in the floor. It's big. Our parents go in, and the whole building starts to coming apart. I grab Wanda, roll under the bed and the second shell hits. But, it doesn't go off. It just... sits there in the rubble, three feet from our faces. And on the side of the shell is painted on word..." Pietro starts to say "Stark." Wanda finished for him "We were trapped two days." Pietro continued "Every effort to save us, every shift in the bricks, I think, 'this will set it off'. We waited for two days for Tony Stark to kill us." Wanda kept going "I know what they are." Pietro said "And what about you, winter wrath?" Ultron asks me I send him a glare for using that name "I dont want any part of the avengers, for all I know they could be another Hydra. And to be honest I'm not so sure about you either, ultron" I say with a straight face "I wondered why only you three survived Strucker's experiments. Now I know. I'm not like Hydra or the avengers. I just want to save the world. We will make it right, together. You and I can hurt them." He said to Pietro "But you both will tear them apart, from the inside." He told Wanda and I
