I woke up and started getting ready for the competition. I had text Peter multiple times but still no answer, I start to get worried and as soon as I walk out of the room I read Ned's mind.
He left. He freaking left and didn't tell me. He's being so unbelievably stupid!!!
I look at Ned and he quickly looks away. We get to the competition and still no sign on Peter. And I'm getting worried sick.
It's the last question and whoever gets this right wins. Right as she finishes the question I got the answer. I look around again the other people to see them with worried expressions. I ring my bell and all eyes turn on me "Yes Miss Bella" the woman asks "Zero" I say "That is correct!" She cheers and everyone rushes over to me giving me hugs and cheering
I honestly didn't really care that we won. I was to worried about Peter. We started walking up to the Washington Monument and I walked over to Ned "Ned? Where is Peter?!" I ask in a hushed voice "I don't know! He said he would be back." He says to me and just then his phone rings
"Peter?" Ned says "Oh, Ned, you're alive!" Peter yells "Ned, Ned, where's the glowy thing, where is the glowy thing?" He asks "It's in my bag. Don't worry it's safe" he tells Peter "No, Ned, listen! No, no, Ned, the glowy thing is dangerous. Ned, listen to me!" I hear him say but Liz grabs the phone before I could "Peter? Is that you?" "Oh, hey, Liz." Peter says "Where are you? Are you ok?" She starts to ask "Please put Ned back on the phone." I hear peter beg. I try to get the phone from her but I was pushed to go through security
I was a tad bit more calm knowing Peter was ok but something in me felt like something bad was about to happen. Then suddenly the glowly thing shoots lasers out of Ned's bag and through the elevator
The whole thing stops "Alright everyone stay calm. We have emergency protocols that will keep us safe" the lady tells us
But then I feel peters presence. "Peter! You better tell me what is going on right now!" I tell him "The whole thing is about to drop!" He yells "Oh dear God. Peter I can't do anything. I'll be seen if I do" I tell him "Don't worry I'll get you guys out of there! Just hold on!" He tells me
Right as I finish talking with him the whole thing drops some. The elevator is filled with screams. They open up the hatch at the top and start to get people out one by one. Flash jumps up and gets them to take the trophy before himself. But right as he jumps it starts to drop then stops but this time Spider-Man comes crashing into the elevator causing it to drop again. Spider-Man quickly uses his webs to stop us from falling. Then he starts to pull us back up
"Woooooo!! Spider-Man!!" Ned yells as he jumps some "Hey big guy stop moving around!" Peter says in a deeper voice "Sorry" he mumbles
The police open the other doors and start to get the rest of us out one by one. Liz went then I was the last one to go. Making sure everyone got out before me
I go to get out but the whole thing drops I jump one last time yelling Peter catches me with his web before I can fall down "It's ok. It's ok I got you. I got you" he tells me as the police grab me and help me up I turn to look at Peter and smile looking into his eyes. Before he falls down "Do you really know Peter Parker?" Flash yells
"Thank you Spider-Man" Jason and Betty say on the school news "Up next: The Spider-Man mania is sweeping the school. How can you show your spider spirit?" Jason continues "Dude, dude, dude, dude, dude." Ned says "What's it like being famous when nobody knows it's you?" He asks Peter "Crazy, dude." Peter said rather excited "It's crazy." Ned agrees with him "Should we tell everyone?" Ned asks "Are you stupid?!" I ask him "No, dude, no, that's not a good idea." Peter tells him a lot calmer than I just did "Okay, come on, we'll be late to class." Ned says "I'm not going to class." Peter tells us "What?" I ask confused "You are already in so much trouble for ditching the Decathlon." Ned tells him "Dude, listen, I figured it out, right?" Peter says "Ok, the wing suit guy is stealing from Damage Control. And what he takes from Damage Control, that's how he builds the weapons. So all we gotta do is catch him" he says shrugging "Catch him? Thats your plan?" I ask dumbfounded "But we have a Spanish quiz." Ned tells him "Ned, I'm probably never gonna come back here. Mr. Stark is moving the Avengers upstate, so when I bring this guy in-" Peter starts to explain "Dude, you want to be a high school dropout?" Ned asks and I just stare at him "I am so far beyond high school right now." Peter said turning around and I start to follow him "Peter!" I whisper but stop once we are met with the principal. "Parker, Bella, my office." He said walking off "Great, thanks dude. You got me in trouble now too" I mumble as we follow him
"So... You got detention. You screwed up.You know what you did was wrong. The question is, how are you gonna make things right? Maybe you were trying to be cool." I roll my eyes if I ever see Steve again I'm so going to bring this up "But take it from a guy who's been frozen for 65 years, the only way to really be cool is to follow the rules." He says. That was a horrible dad joke Peter quickly stands up and walks out.
I roll my eyes at his behavior. He will probably call me later. I look at MJ and nod towards her notebook asking to see what she was drawing She picked it up and showed it to me. I smirked trying to keep a laugh in then gave her a thumbs up.
