"Bye Wanda!! Bye Billy! Bye Tommy!" I yell grabbing my backpack walking out for school. "Have fun!" Wanda yells back Let me back up a bit, when vision died Wanda didn't have anywhere to go. So I invited her to live with me, we got a bigger apartment and after a few months Wanda looked in to adopting. Her and vision always wanted two twin boys if they ever got married so Wanda ended up adopting twin boys age 8, Billy and Tommy.
Peters POV (this chapter will be the only one in Peter's pov, I just love this scene so much I had to add it)
Peter sat down in front of Ned "I have a plan" Peter says and Ned looks up waiting for him to continue "Okay, first, I'm gonna sit next to Elizabeth on the flight." He says "Mm-hm," Ned nods "Second, I'm gonna buy a dual-headphone adapter and watch movies with her the whole time." He tells him "Okay." Ned says "Three, when we go to Venice, Venice is really famous for making stuff out of glass, right?" Peter tells him whispering so no one hears "True." Ned answers "I'm gonna buy her a bird-bill dayflower-" he starts to say "Why that flower?" Ned asks "That's been her favorite flower since I met her" he answers "Four, when we go to Paris, I'm gonna take her to the top of the Eiffel Tower, give her the necklace." He tells him "Oh." Ned says "Then, five, I'm gonna tell her how I feel. And then, six, hopefully I don't ruin our friendship and she tells me she feels the same way." Peter says "Oh, don't forget step seven," Ned tells him "Step seven?" Peter asks getting his pen ready "Don't do any of that." Ned tells him "Why?" He asks "We're gonna be bachelors in Europe, Peter" Ned tells him "Ned." Peter starts "Look, I may not know much, but I do know this: Europeans love Americans." Ned tells him "Really?" Peter says "More than half of them are women." Ned adds "Okay. Sure, But I've liked Elizabeth for a really long time, man, okay? Shes funny she's beautiful- She's coming." Peter says shushing Ned
Elizabeth POV
I had been talking to MJ about the trip when we decided to go talk with Ned and Peter about it as well. As we walked up i saw Peter shush Ned "Hey fellas." I say "Excited about the trip?" I ask them "Hey". peter says "Yeah. We were just talking about the trip." Peter tells me "Yeah, and Peter's plan," Ned says "A plan? What for?" I ask "I don't-I don't have a plan." Peter says fast "No, he's just gonna collect tiny spoons when we're traveling to other countries" Ned tells us "Oh ok uhh vintage I guess" I say "I was going to take a camera to photograph everything." I tell them smiling "That sounds cool, but I'm not collecting tiny spoons. He's collecting tiny spoons" Peter tells me "Alright uhh. I guess see ya later, boys" I say walking off
Peters POV
Peter watched Elizabeth walk off not taking his eyes off of her. After she walked out of the room he turned back to Ned who was already looking at him "Oh man you're completely in love" He tells him
Back to Elizabeth POV
Peter and I stood in front of a audience listening to May speak "When I Blipped back to my apartment, the family that was living there was very confused. The wife thought that I was a mistress. The grandma thought I was a ghost. It was...It was really a mess." She tells them "Thank you all for coming out to support those who have been displaced by the Blip. And of course, thanks to our very own Spider-Man and Sapphire!" She says excited as everyone cheered and clapped. Peter went up to the microphone and says "Thank you, Miss Parker, for having us" he says then puts two thumbs up I walked up to the microphone next and say "And thank you for having us. It is a honor" I tell them all then may comes back up "And thank you, Spider-Man and Sapphire. They'll be right back out to take photos and videos. Thank you!" She says and we walk behind the curtain "That was awesome." May says "That was amazing." Peter adds "That was great" May kinda sings "That was so cool. I was so nervous" Peter tells us "I was a little stiff. I wasn't in the pocket" May says "No no, you were great" I tell her "Oh Elizabeth you were actually amazing, very natural!" May tells me then turns to Peter "I actually think you were a little stiff." She tells him "Yeah, I felt that too. I felt that too." He says trying to hide the fact that he was a little offended "It's fine, it's fine." May tells him "Okay." He says "Do you both have your passports?" May's asks "Yeah." We both say "Mini toothpaste?" She asks "Yeah, we got it." Peter says
Oh that's the other thing, when May found out Peter was Spider-Man she completely flipped out. Peter started going on a rant about how he would be fine and straight up said "I'll be fine I have Elizabeth with me" and of course she was confused about that so he ended up having to tell her who I was. Honestly I'm ok with it, she treats me like her own
We hear someone start to walk in and Peter quickly puts on his mask but right after we saw it was happy he took it off.
"Hey, sorry I'm late." Happy says "Happy. Hey." Peter and I both say "Oh, you look lovely" Happy tells May ignoring both Peter and I "Thanks. You too." May says "Thank you, New dress?" He asks "Yeah, yes, it is" May answers Both Peter and I just stare at each other confused on what is happening "It's a new beard." May says "It's my...my Blip beard" Happy said proud "I grew it in the Blip. It's a Blip beard." He explains to her "I see. Yeah." She tells him
"Anyway, so, the reason I'm late is because this was misplaced at the office" happy says holding up a check "Can you believe it? Because it's enormous. Not the amount, the size. The amount's nice too. They're generous." Happy says "Pepper Potts said, sorry she couldn't be here" he tells her "Yeah. Thank you, I think I'm gonna go change the Sterno under the vegan lasagne. Spider-Man, Sapphire, go shake hands." She tells us May walks out and happy finally turns his attention to us "What just happened?" Peter asks "Yeah I agree what was that?" I ask very confused "Heads up, Nick Fury's calling you Peter" Happy tells him "Fury's gonna call me? Why?" He asks "Why? He probably has hero stuff for you to do. You're a superheroes. He calls superheroes." Happy explains "Look, Happy. I don't think he would be that interested in calling me" Peter tells him "If it was that important, he'd probably call someone else, not me" Peter tells him then his phone rings. "Ha, karma" I laugh Peter sent a glare my way then grabbed his phone "No caller ID. That's him" Happy told him "I don't wanna talk to Nick Fury" Peter says "Why you scared?" I ask still laughing "Answer the phone" Happy tells him "Why?" Peter asks "Because if you don't talk to him, I have to, and I don't want to talk to him." Happy tells him "Why you don't wanna talk to him?" Peter asks "Because I'm scared. Answer the phone." Happy answers "Y'all are babies" I tell them But then peter raised his phone and ended the call sending him to voice mail "You sent Nick Fury to voicemail?" Happy asks "Yeah" Peter simply said "You don't send Nick Fury to voicemail." Happy tells him "Ok well I've got to go. They're calling me." Peter says putting his mask back on starting to walk out "You got to talk to him." Happy says "Mmm hmm. You coming?" He asks me "Yeah I'll be there in a second" I tell him "Can you talk some sense into him please?" Happy asks me "I'll get there. Happy he's been through a lot, let him breathe for a bit" I tell him "Yeah I get it. You've been through a lot, but yet you basically will lead the avengers if the time ever comes again" he tells me "Yeah well I'm also technically 102. He's actually 16" I tell him "Fine. But if Nick fury calls you, you better answer" he tells me "Yeah yeah I will. Can't ignore the person who is kinda my boss right?" I ask walking back to go back to the crowd "That's right" happy says
As soon as I walk out a million of questions were sent my way. But no sign of Peter
"Uh yes you ma'am" I say pointing at a woman "Are you going to be iron man's replacement?" She asks me "No, iron man isn't and never will be replaceable. But I will do my best to live up to his legacy" I tell her "Sapphire! Sapphire!" Someone yells "Yes?" I ask telling them to ask the next question "Were you a cause of Tony stark being in a coma?" They ask me "Uhh I-that-that's all the time I have today, Thank you all for coming" I smile and fly out of the room onto the roof I see Peter sitting and go over to sit next to him. I stare at the Tony stark painting on the wall "You know Peter. I can't really blame you for not wanting to talk to fury" I tell him "You're probably the only one" he mumbles After a second he says "Why?" He adds "Why what?" I ask "Why can't you blame me?" He laughs a little "You're only 16. You've been through a lot. You deserve a break" I tell him He paused for a second "Thank you Lizzie" he says "Anytime" I smile "You deserve a break too you know" he tells me I look at the painting of Tony. I wanted to honestly answer that I really didn't. They every second I have to do something good to make up for what I've done. I don't think I'll ever feel worthy for a break "Thanks" I give him a small smile "Anytime" he repeats what I said smiling as well
