Everyday has been the same for a whole year now. We get woken up by yelling, we get taken to separate rooms and tested on. Over and over again. And every time we live, our parents get paid.
"Elizabeth, Alexander. Come with me I have news" the Hydra leader tells us We get up and follow him to his office "Sit" he tells us and we do as told
"As you both know, every time you live through an experiment your parents get paid. Correct?" He asks us "Yes sir" we say at the same time "Well your parents have taken the deal for granted. They have been stealing money from us, thinking that we didn't notice. Unfortunately for them I guess they forgot Hydra knows everything" He says with a evil laugh "I have them both in the room next door. Now as for you two, I would like for you both to kill them. It will be the first step in your training" He tells us "Kill them sir?" Alexander asks "Yes, and if you don't there will be consequences understood?" He tells us Alexander and I both look at each other before nodding "Good. Let's go" he says getting up
He opens the door and walks through. Alexander and I right behind him.
"What are they doing here?" Mama asks him "Well they have come to return what has been giving to them." He laughs He kneels in front of us both He hands us both a gun. "Kill them" he says We both hesitate and just stare at the guns "Go. Go on" he says and we both finally pick them up
He puts me right in front of mama and Alexander right in front of papa "Shoot them" he tells us He both lift the gun towards them shaking in fear. But we didn't shoot. We couldn't shoot. Tears started flooding our eyes "Don't you remember what they did to you?! They sold you. They gave you away because you were nothing to them!!" He yells at us "Give them back what they deserve" he whispers into my ear
"Pathetic." He says taking the guns from us As soon as he does he shoots them both in the head. "NOO!!" Both Alexander and I yell running towards them, before we were grabbed by the guards. "Mama!! Papa!!!" I scream while getting dragged away
They throws us back into our cells and lock the doors "Soon enough I will break you both. And you will be hydra's greatest creation. " he says "Hail hydra!" He yells then walks away.
Tears were flowing out of my eyes. I couldn't understand why. They sold us, they didn't care for us. Why would I care if they died. But yet here I was. Mourning my parents death.
~3 years later~
It's been three years since my parents were killed. 4 years sense we have been stuck here. I just turned 6, and Alexander is 9 now.
Since my parents death everything has changed, Now it's not only experiments, we also have to train, combat, knifes, shooting, hand to hand, torture, and school. Alexander and I were both surprised when they actual started teaching us, they told us we need to be "experts" at everything there is to know.
School has been the easiest part of all of this. It's because of the serum my parents gave us and they still give us to this day, it changes your brain. A short way to explain it is that the serum expands your brain. We can retain any information they tell or show us instantly. Which also helps us when learning languages.
"Get up!" They yell banging on the cell door They throw me a thing of clothes "Get changed. Now" he says then walks off
I change into what looked like one of their uniforms. Before the guard came back and instructed me to follow.
He lead me to a room where I was met with the leader and my brother.
"Good now that you are both hear I have some news to tell you" he says "I'm going to be sending you both on a mission. It's a simple one really. A man has betrayed Hydras trust and now he must be killed." He tells us Both our eyes go wide "But I'm only a child" I tell him "I don't want to kill anyone" Alexander says "I had a feeling you would say that. Which is why I'm telling you this, if you fail this mission. Well let's just say it won't be pretty." He tells us both "They will give you all the details on the way. Once you are back I have more exciting news to tell you both" He adds
The ride to the mission was dead silent. Alexander and I occasionally would glance at each other with a worried expression.
"The mission is simple. Break into apartment 201. Kill the man, and get out. No witnesses and do not cause a scene. I'm sure you already know what will happen if you fail this mission." The guard says Alexander and I both swallow hard before nodding to the guard
We pull up to the apartment building before he hands both Alexander and I a knife. "Guns will make to much noise. Go in, kill him and get out" he says opening the car door and pushing us out
We sneak our way into the building and find apartment door 201, I use the knife I was given to pick the lock. After I got it open we both look around the corner making sure not to get seen. I look into the living room to see him standing there on the phone. For a second I thought it was just him. But as soon as he hangs up his wife comes and kisses him. No witnesses. I look over at Alexander before slightly nodding with tears in my eyes
We walk closer "Hello?" I ask in a small voice They both turn to look at us "Oh. Oh well hello darlings. Who are you? How did you get here?" The wife asks us "I was with my mama and papa trying on these funny clothes but I can't find them now" I say trying to act sad "Oh well honey we will help you" she says kneeling in front of me The man soon joins her kneeling in front of Alexander "What's your name son?" He asks "Alexander" he says "Well Alexander do you know where your parents are?" The man asks Alexander just nods at him "Well where are they?" He asks "Dead" Alexander responds "What?" The man says I look over at Alexander and nod I look back at the woman "I'm sorry" I whisper "Wha-" she starts to say before her throat is met with my knife. The man was about to scream before Alexander did the same with his knife I broke down in tears as I looked at the pool of blood around them both. We had just killed two innocent people. Alexander hugged me before saying "Let's go" walking off
We get back into the car not saying a word, just staring at our hands covered in blood.
We walk into the office where the leader was waiting for us "Mission report" he says "Target eliminated" Alexander tells him "His wife was with him. Also eliminated, no witnesses were left" I say trying to keep the tears from falling "Good. I'm proud of you both." He says with a smile that sends a shiver down my spine "Now for the other news" he tells us "We have created a new machine, the short way to put it is that it will freeze you to the point where you stop aging. This way we can only use you when needed" he says "And as of right now we don't need you for anything important so you will both be put in" he tells us "What?" I ask trembling in fear "Let's go" he says walking out ignoring me
We walk up to the two machines the doors open ready for us to go in
I look at Alexander. I quickly break free of the guards grip and tackle him in a hug "I love you" I whisper "I love you to Lizzie" he says back before we were pulled apart They put us both into them and closed the doors. "Hail Hydra!" was the last thing I heard before it went dark
