After we ate dinner we all went back up into our rooms. I was roomed with MJ thankfully. We both got ready and I was ready in my bed when I felt someone in the room that wasn't MJ.
I jump out of bed "Bella what's wrong?" MJ asks I don't answer her and just keep walking. I round the corner only to see its fury standing there MJ runs around the corner as well She was about to scream when I cover her mouth "MJ MJ shhhhh." I say covering her mouth I wave my hand over her head and use my powers to make her sleep and forget what she just saw then I float her over to her bed.
"You know you could've just sent me a message. Or called, like a normal person" I tell him "This is more enjoyable" he says and I roll my eyes at that comment
"Here's the run down. I used to know everything. Then I come back five years later, and now I know nothing. No intel, no team. And a high school kid is dodging my calls. Here's what I do know. I know that another high school kid will lead the avengers if the time comes. And a week ago, a village in Mexico was wiped out by a cyclone. Witnesses say that cyclone had a face." He says "Three days later a similar event in Morocco. A village was destroyed by what may well be another world-threatening event" he tells me "I have a feeling I know where this is going" I tell him "And you're most likely right. Suit up" he says and walks out
Fury drove a boat across the water going to what I'm guessing is his secret hide out right now. "Stark left me a note in case anything were to happen after the battle. He gave me these to give to you" Fury said giving a box to Peter "And these for you" he tells me giving me a box I open the box to see the same glasses I wore when we pulled up to the tower after figuring out time travel. I smile at the memory ''Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Stark put that in the note, he said you wouldn't get that though because it's not a Star Wars reference" Fury said "It's Shakespeare" I say. Tony had told me that many times before "But he did tell me that you would get it" Fury said making me smile He stopped the boat we all three got out and started walking "You can loose the mask. Everyone here has seen you without it. You'd only be feigning anonymity and breathing through leather and spandex for no good reason." Fury says to Peter "Come on." He tells us
"Over there, we have Maria Hill" Fury said and I sent her a smile considering we have already met "That is Dimitri." He said "And this is Mr. Beck." Fury tells us and the man from the fight walks up "Mysterio?" Peter asks "What?" he says confused "Doesn't matter. It's just what our friends have been calling you." Peter tells him Mr. Beck reaches out his hand "Well you can call me Quentin." He tells us as he shakes Peter's hand then mine. Once I grabbed his hand I tried to read his mind again but nothing. Something is definitely up
"You two handled yourselves well out there today." He says to us then turns to Peter "I saw what you did with the monster and the tower. We could use some people like you on my world." He says "Wait I'm sorry. Your world?" Peter asks making sure he heard right "Mr. Beck is from Earth. Just not yours." He says, I definitely caught the part where he said 'yours' and not 'ours'. I might ask him about that later. "There are multiple realities. This is Earth Dimension 616. I'm from Earth 833." He says "So the multiverse is actually real?" Peter asks "It's crazy because I thought that was just theoretical. I mean that completely changed how we understand the initial singularity" peter starts to say "You're talking about an eternal inflation system. How does that even work with all the quantum" he adds "Sorry. It's just really cool" Peter says stopping his rant "Don't ever apologize for being the smartest person in the room" Quentin said I'm not going to take offense to that. Don't do it Elizabeth. don't. do. it. "Anyway" Hill said pulling up a hologram "They were born in stable orbits within black holes. Creatures formed from the primary elements: Air, water, fire, earth. The Science Division had a technical name. We just called them Elementals." She explains "Versions of them exist across our mythologies." She says "Turns out myths are real." Fury says "Like Thor" Peter says "Like me" I chuckle at my joke even though no one heard it "I thought they were myths and now we study Thor in our physics class." Peter said "These myths are threats" Fury said. "They first materialized on my Earth many years ago" Quentin explains "We mobilized and fought them. But with each battle, they grew, got stronger. I was part of the last battalion left trying to stop them. All we did was delay the inevitable." He says giving me flash backs of thanos "Well I can help with the inevitable thing. Did it once I can do it again" I say looking at the hologram on the table. I could see Mr. Beck look at me strange "The Elementals are here now attacking the same coordinates. Our satellites confirm it." Hill tells us "Thank Mr. Beck for destroying the other three. There's only one left Fire." Fury says "The strongest of them all. The one that destroyed my Earth" Quentin says. "It's the one that took my family." He adds "I'm sorry" Peter mumbles "And it will be in Prague in approximately 48 hours." Hill says "We have one mission. Kill it. And you're coming with us." Fury tells us "No wait. I'm sorry did you say Prague?" Peter asks "Mr. Fury this all seems like big time you know, huge superhero kind of stuff." Peter says "I'm not ready for that huge step. It sounds like something for the mayor league." Peter keeps going "Bitch please. You've been to space" fury snaps "I know, but that was an accident" Peter said "Come on sir. There's got to be someone else you can use." Peter asks "What about Thor?" He tells them "Off-world." Fury says "What about Captain Marvel?" Peter asks "Don't invoke her name." Fury says "Sir look, I wanna help, I do. But if my aunt finds out I left my class trip she's gonna kill me. And if I'm seen like this in Europe after the Washington Monument, my whole class will figure out who I am and then the whole world will figure it out and I'm done" Peter explains to them "Okay. I understand." Fury says "Excuse me?" Peter asks "Why don't you get back before your teachers miss you and become suspicious." Fury says "Dimitri." He calls out "Take them back to the hotel please." He tells him "Yes " Dimitri said "Thank you. And uh, good luck" Peter says starting to walk off "I know you have something up your sleeve" I say to fury "Don't read my mind!" He says rather quickly "I won't I won't" I say raising my hands up in defense "See yo, kids." Fury tell us both
