Peter and I landed on a building a few blocks away from happy's place. We stood in front of a New York sign with the news on it.
"Tragedy. What else can I call it? What more need be said? The damage... The destruction... You saw it with your own eyes. When will people wake up, and realise that everywhere Spider-Man and Sapphire go... chaos and calamity ensue. Everything they touch comes to ruin. And we, the innocents, are left to pick up the pieces. J. Jonah Jameson, reporting. Good night. And God help us all." Jonah Jameson says May was dead. And I couldn't do anything about it. If I would've tried harder- maybe she would've lived.
Peter and I sat at our spot on the roof. MJ and Ned both walk up and hug us. Staying there for a while as Peter and I cry more.
"Guys there's... there's some people here..." MJ says, Peter and I jump up ready to fight. "What?" Peter asks while we stand
Two people jump down landing in what looked like Spider-Man poses. They started walking closer "Hey. Wait wait whoa." Peter says and they both hold their hands up saying they want no harm. "Sorry... about May." A man in normal clothes says "Yeah. Sorry." A man in a spider man suit says "I got some understand of what-" he starts to say "Don't." I snap "Please don't tell me you know what I'm going through." Peter says finishing my sentence "Okay." The man said "She's gone....And it's all my fault." Peter says "She died for nothing. So I'm gonna do what I should've done in the first place." He says reaching for the box in MJ's hand "Peter..." The man in normal clothes says "Please don't. You don't belong here. Either of you, so I'm sending you home. Those other guys are from your worlds, right?" Peter asks and they both nod "So you deal with it. If they die if you kill them... That's on you. It's not my problem. I don't care anymore. Im done. I'm really sorry that I dragged you into this. But you have to go home now. Good luck." Peter says reaching for the box again but MJ moves it away. She nods back up to the two men "My Uncle Ben was killed. It was my fault." The guy in normal clothes says "I lost.....I lost Gwen. My uh.. She was my Elizabeth. I couldn't save her. I'm never gonna be able to forgive myself for that. But I carried on. Tried to uh... Tried to keep going, tried to keep being the uh... that friendly neighborhood Spider-Man because I know that's what she would have wanted. But... at some point I just... I stopped pulling my punches. I got rage full. I got bitter. I just don't want you to end up like... like me." The guy in the Spider-Man suit says "The night.. Ben died I hunted the man down who I thought did it. I wanted him dead. I got what I wanted. It didn't make it better. It took me a long time to.. learn to get through that darkness." The guy in normal clothes says
"I wanna kill him. I want to tear him apart. I can still hear her voice in my head...Even after she was hurt, she said that we did the right thing. She told me that with great power..." Peter starts to say "Comes great responsibility." Both men finish "Wait what? How do you know that?" Peter asks "Uncle Ben said it." One of them said "The day he died. Maybe she didn't die for nothing Peter." The other one says
We got into our schools science lab putting the cures on the table. "Ok so Connors, Marko, Dillon and... Look I think that I can repair the devices for Dillon and Marko, but the others-" Peter says "Oh I got Connors. I've already cured him once, so no big deal" Peter 3 says We all stared at him "What? It's no big deal?" he shrugs "Great" peter 2 said "Yeah that's great" Peter smiles "I think I can make an antiserum for Dr. Osborn. Been thinking about it for a long time" Peter 2 says "Gotta cure all of them. Right?" He adds "Right." Peter says "That's what we do." Peter 3 says
I started working on my cure I had and finished very quickly. I started walking around looking at their cures. I walk over to Peter 3 and see him tense when I do "I'm sorry about her" I say "It's ok. Your face just brought up memories. You look like her in some ways" he says "Of course she didn't have powers though" he chuckles I laugh a little looking at his cure "Hey if you move that one inch to the right it will work better" I tell him "What no- oh yeah yeah it will. Thanks" he says I smile before walking over to Peter 2
"You married?" I ask him seeing his wedding ring "We had obstacles along the way. But we figured it out" he smiles I smile at that and look through his cure. "You're missing the exogeny" I tell him He stares at it for a second "Yeah you're right thanks" he says "Yep" I smile as I walk back over to Peter I walk over to Peter and sit down next to him. He turns to look at me "Elizabeth I'm so sorry. I ruined everything. You were so happy and I-" he starts to say "Peter stop. I made my choice and I wouldn't ever change it. So stop that right now before I close your mouth for you" I say "Ok ok I will" he laughs as we both out our hands together I stand up again just walking around waiting for them to finish "Did you already finish or something?" Peter 3 asks me "Oh yeah I finished like 30 minutes ago" I shrug "We started like 25 minutes ago" he says wide eye "Yeah" I smile "What's your IQ?" He asks "300" I say "300?!?!" He yells "No wonder you knew what to do just by looking at it for 2 seconds" he says in shock I was about to answer when Ned spoke up "Peter!" Ned yells "Yeah?" All three of them stand up "Oh sorry did you mean?" Peter says '''Peter Peter" Ned keeps saying "They are all called Peter." I tell Ned "We're all Peter." Peter 3 says "Peter Parker?" Ned says "Same again. We're all Peter Parker." Peter 2 says "The computer." Ned says letting out a sigh "Oh, I'm ready." Peter says "Yeah. Me too" Peter 3 says "Same" Peter 2 says "Been ready" I smile "Ok so now, all we gotta do is lure these guys someplace right? Try to cure them while they try to kill us and then send them home." Peter 3 says "Using a magic box" Peter 2 says with a questioning look "You get used to it" I say "Well that's the plan" peter says "So are you gonna go into battle dressed as a cool youth pastor or do you got your suit?" Peter 3 asks Peter 2 He pulls down his shirt a little to show his suit underneath. "Cool" Peter 3 mumbles "Here's your web cartridges" he says giving it to peter "Ah thanks man" Peter said grabbing it "What's that for?" Peter 2 asks "It's my web fluid. It's for my web shooters. Why?" Peter says Peter 2 doesn't answer he just shots webs out of his arm making us all look in shock "That came out of you" Ned said . "Yeah. You can't do that huh?" Peter 2 says "No" Peter said "How on earth does that even-?" Peter 3 starts to say "Anyway we're getting sidetracked. This is where we'll do this ok? It's isolated so no one should get hurt. We draw them there with the box. It's the one thing they all want. All we have to do is figure out how to get there." Peter tells us "We could portal there" ned says "What?" Peter and I both say "I'm magic now." Ned says "Yeah no no he's right" MJ says "Yeah we saw." Peter 2 says "Yeah he is." Peter 3 says "Wait really?" Peter says looking at hm "Dude I got Doctor Strange magic" ned says exited "No way." Peter says "Yeah. And I promise you, I won't turn into a supervillain and try to kill you." Ned tells him Peter 3 pats his shoulder as I try not to laugh. "Okay....Thank you."Peter says confused "Hey what's the thing you always say?" Peter asks me "Don't get your hopes up and-" Peter starts to say "No no no. We're gonna go kick some ass." I say and Peter smiles "Cure. Cure some ass" peter 2 says "Cure that ass." Ned repeats
