When I woke up I wasn't in the abandoned building anymore. I was in some kind of really old basement I started walking around trying to figure out here I was "Hello?! Is anyone here?!" I asks "Where the hell am I" I mumble I round a corner and see a round room with a pillar in the middle "What the f-" I start to say then I see someone round the corner walking into the same room as me
"Elizabeth Elizabeth" the voice said They walked out of the shadows and I see Hailey "You didn't think you were the only magical girl in this school, did you?" She asks me With a move of her hand the door slams shut behind me "The name's Hailey Harkness. Lovely to finally meet you dear!" She smiles
"Hmm what?" Hailey asks lifting her bunny up to her ear "No, I know. She does look shocked to meet the real us doesn't she?" She says I tilt my head to the side my eyes glowing a little "Oh that's adorable. My thoughts are not available to you darling. They never were. So don't go givin yourself a migraine." She tells me I look around the room for a way out but there's nothing "We've got work to do." She says putting her bunny down "Where am I" I ask in a strong accent '''Where am I?' You really want to act intimidating. It's so cute!" She says "I won't ask again" I say "Where am I" I ask her again stepping forward with blue in my hands. But my power doesn't work I stare at my hands confused when she says "Oh your magic's no good here" she says as she flicks her wrist and I go flying back. I get tied up to the pillar in the middle I let out a gasp not expecting it "Didn't you notice? Basic protection dome, around this whole house. No? Nothing?" She asks me I look at her crazy I have no clue what she is talking about. "These are domes Elizabeth. In a given space, only a few people can cast the domes with her magic. Few meaning myself and supposedly you. How do you not know the fundamentals?" She asks me "Who are you?" I ask her "Who are you? All those years stuck in that high school. I was so patient, waiting for you to reveal your true self. Then I made a deal with that- what was his name? Oh yeah that Mysterio guy" she tells me "You did that?" I ask her "Nothing forced. He had his plan but I just needed you. Not Peter. But you're so crippled and teared apart by your own fears, self-doubts and insecurities. You made it easy" she tells me "Oh Elizabeth. When I came into the place, the afterglow of so much power stored in only one body. Oh, I couldn't make heads or tails for it." She tells me A bug started flying around and she grabbed it with her powers Then the bug flew over to me and flew onto my face "I tried to use mind control on more people in your life but there was something that wouldn't allow me to do it. And I never really figured it out." Hailey says "Years of study to achieve the smallest amount of power. And here you are. The power living inside of you is astonishing and you didn't even know of its existence!" She yells "How did you do it girl?" She asks me "Listen, I need you- Hey Elizabeth, I need you to tell me how you got it." She tells me "I didn't get anything. I'm not-" I started to say She claps her hands and I get thrown onto the other side of the room. "I tried to be gentle to nudge you awake from your ridiculous hero era. But you would rather fall apart than face your truth. You left me no choice." She says
She walked over to me and lifts my chin "What was it you said to Beck huh? You just wanted to learn about your powers and past. Let's start there." She says She used her powers and a door glows with purple around it. "I played friends for to long Elizabeth" she says
"All right, let's go." She says "No" I tell her from the ground "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you forget you're in my basement?" She asks I had no other choice. I slowly got up from the ground "That's right" she says I slowly took steps towards the door "After you superstar" Hailey says
I walk through the door and immediately recognize it's the home where Alexander and I lived before Hydra I watch little me and little Alexander run past me
"Come on Bubby!" I yell "Slow down Lizzie!" He yells back We run through the forest but I stop when I see something in the ground Alexander joins my side "What is that?" He asks "I don't know" I say I stare at it while tilting my head. I felt so drawn to it. I reach out my had slowly "Lizzie don't touch that!" Alex yells "I'm not" I say still moving towards it Before I could touch it, it exploded. But as soon as it did it stopped.
I stare wide eyed. "Let's go Lizzie" alex tells me But when I don't move he grabs my arm "Please" he says I look at him and back at the thing on the ground one last time before walking off with him "Did you stop it?" she asks me "What?" I say still processing what just happened. I don't ever remember that happening "You probably used a protection dome" she tells me "No, I-It it didn't go off- I just- I though it was some type of light" I stumble "Huh. Such a tragic life, and yet you were just waiting for more adventure but didn't know the years of therapy that were waiting ahead. Doesn't explain how you got the big guns, Elizabeth" she says as she opens another door I quickly recognized the place "I don't wanna go back there." I say "I know you don't but you don't seem to have a choice angel. The only way forward is back." She tells me
