Peter called me a little bit later. "Elizabeth. I need you to meet me at Mays work" he says "Ok. Why?" I ask already grabbing my stuff "One of the guys are there" he says "On my way" I say walking out "Where are you going?" MJ asks "Peter might have found another guy" I say
"May? Where's May?" Peter says while him and I rush into where May works Someone points to a door "Thank you." We both say then take off running towards her Peter and I barge in to see May and the guy sitting down talking. "Hey here they are. Norman this is my nephew and his girlfriend." May says "Norman Osborn? I thought that you were-" Peter starts to say but stops "I saw Spider-Man and his ally in an ad for this place. And I thought he could help me. But you're not him." He says "Wait do you want Spider-Man's help?" Peter asks him "He just wandered in." May tells us "I didn't know where else to go. Someone's living in my house. Oscorp doesn't exist. My son" Norman says "Sometimes I'm not myself. I'm-someone else. And every time he's in control I can't remember." He tells us "And now I'm here-In this place. In this city. I don't know what's going on with me. And I know it doesn't make sense." He tells us "Ok. It's ok" May says standing up coming over to Pete and I "He's lost. And so don't mean just in the cosmos. I mean in his mind. Are they all like this?" She asks "Yeah" peter and I say at the same time "Yeah?" May asks "Mentally and physically" I say "Oh well he needs help and maybe they all do." May says "Wait you don't mean..? No May this isn't my problem." Peter tells her "Peter not your problem?" She says "May their chance of getting help is way better back where they came from" Peter says "Sending them home that's the best thing that we can do for them." He adds "For them? Or for yourself? Look around you. This is what we do. We help people." May tells him "This is what's best for them. Trust me." Peter
"Thanks May. Hope to see you again." Norman says getting in the car May stops both Peter and I "Hey. He trusts you guys. So do I" she tells us "Thanks for cleaning my suit" Peter says "Thank you may" I smile before getting in the car as well
"Guys this is Mr. Osborn" peter says "Hey it's doctor" Norman tells him "Sorry Dr. Osborn. This is Ned and MJ." I say Norman starts to wonder round "Do you think there are other Ned Leed's?" Ned asks us "Octavius?" Norman speaks up "Osborn?" Otto says "What happened to you?" Norman asks "What happened to-? You're the walking corpse." Otto says "What do you mean?" Norman asks "You died Norman. Years ago." Otto says I started walking closer to their conversation "You're insane." Norman tells him "God I love it here" I hear max mumbles "What are you talking about? He's standing right there. He's not-" I start to say but get cut off "Dead. They both died... Fighting Spider-Man." Flint speaks up I glance at Peter "It was all over the news. Green Goblin impaled by the glider you flew around on. And a couple of years later you, Doc Ock. Drowned in the river with your machine." Flint says "That's nonsense! Spider-Man was trying to stop my fusion reactor so I stopped him. I had him by the throat, and then I...I...And then I was here." He said "Oh please. Let me tell you something. I was whupping Spider-Man's ass. He'll tell you. And then he caused an overload. I was stuck in the grid absorbing data. I was about to turn into pure energy. And then...And then...And then. Oh shit I was about to die." Max says "Max do you know? Do I die?" the Lizard asks Just then strange walks in "Oh great. You caught another one." He says "No wait Strange. He's not dangerous" peter try's to say but strange send him into a cage "It's okay." Peter tells Norman "What is that?" I ask strange "It's an ancient relic. The Macchina di Kadavus. I've trapped your corrupted spell inside and once I finish the proper ritual it'll reverse the spell and send these guys back to their universes." Strange tells us "And then what? We perish?" Otto says "No. No thanks. I'll pass on that" max says "Let me out of here. Peter! Elizabeth!" Norman yells "Strange we can't send them back. Not yet" Peter tells him "Why?" Strange asks "Well some of these guys are gonna die." Peter tells him "Parker. It's their fate." He says "Come on Strange. Have a heart." I tell him "In the grand calculus of the multiverse, their sacrifice means infinitely more than their lives. I'm sorry kid. If they die, they die." He tells us
Strange raised his hand to press the button. I looked at Peter and we both nod I grab stranges hand with my power stopping him. He looks up at me. Then Peter shoots his webs "Don't" strange tells him Peter pulls it back then send strange into one of the cages "Dude what are you doing?" Ned asks. "Peter you gotta go. Go!" MJ yells "Peter go!" I tell him He takes off as strange comes out of the cage "This is why I never had kids" strange mumbles and starts to follow Peter "Uhh nope" I say blocking his path He stares at me then creates a portal and walks through "Damn it I forgot he could do that" I mumble
We waited for a while but suddenly Peter walks through a portal. "What happened?" We all ask at the same time "I just had a fight with Strange and I totally won" Peter breaths out "You what?!" I ask "Look I stole his ring thing. I was swinging through the city and then I went through this massive mirror thing-" Peter starts to explain "The Mirror Dimension?" I ask "Yeah. And then I was back-" Peter starts to say again "Where is he? Where is he?" MJ asks "He's trapped but I'm not sure for how long." Peter says "You could have left us to die" Otto says. "Why didn't you?" He adds "Because we aren't like that" I tell him "I think I can help you guys. If I can fix what happened to you then when you go back things will be different and you might not die fighting Spider-Man." Peter tells them "What do you mean fix us?" Max asks "Our technology is advanced-" Peter starts to say "I can help you. You know, I'm something of a scientist myself. Octavius knows what I can do." Norman says "Fix? You mean like a dog? I refuse." Otto says "I can't promise you guys anything but at least this way, you actually get to go home and have a chance. A second chance." Peter says "Thats worth trying isn't it?" I ask them "Trust me Elizabeth. When you try to fix people there are always consequences" lizard guy says "You can stay or come. But if you stay here you're gonna have to deal with the wizard." I tell them "Oh so we go along or die. Not much of a choice is it?" the Lizard asks "Not at all but that's what you got" I say "I just wanna go home" Flint says "Well I myself don't wanna be killed. Especially by two people dressed like Dungeons & Dragons, so what's your plan?" Max asks "I have it all under control" Peter says then turns to us and we all huddle up "What are we gonna do about this thing?" Peter says "Well we need to find somewhere safe for it right? MJ asks holding up the thing we took from strange "Yeah sure. You gotta take it" Peter tells her "Wait what?" She asks "If something bad happens I'll text you and you just push this and then it's over" I tell her "No we're going with you. We're not gonna leave you." MJ says "You can't come with us. It's too dangerous" I tell her "Guys we're in this together" ned says "I know we're in this together Ned. But I can't do this if I know that you're in danger" peter tells them "MJ please just take this. Please" I say "Fine. But I swear, if I don't hear from any of you I'm pressing the button." She says "Yep got it" I say "Ok. And I will do it." She tells the other people "She definitely will" I tell them "Yeah we all believe you" Max nods "And if any of you try anything at all, I won't hesitate to hurt you" I tell them with a serious face "No way that's his girlfriend. No way" the Lizard guy mumbles Peter and I hugged Ned and MJ bye before they walk out Peter and I turn back around to them "So....Who's coming with us?" Peter asks "Well I'm in. But if this goes sideways...I'm gonna fry you from the inside out." Max tells him I started laughing out loud "Whatever helps you sleep at night" I tell him
