Chapter 50: Juyon's Perserverance! Juyon and Denkei Vs. Izolly Part 2!

Izolly stands over Juyon and Denkei with a sinister grin as he invokes Spark JōKai onto his bat. "I'm gonna kill you both now. For a second, I thought I'd get a good fight out of this."

The force from the swift movement of Izolly swinging his bat causes Juyon's finger to twitch as he becomes conscious. "I thought we lost there..." Juyon's eyes snap open, and he spots Izolly. He snatches up Denkei and leaps away.

Izolly lets out a slight cackle. "Oh! So you have a little fight left in you! I'm glad 'cause it was boring for you guys to go down so fast!"

The severity of the battle damage causes Juyon to hyperventilate, leaving him struggling for air. "If we lose here, billions of innocent lives will be annihilated. I made a promise to myself and my mother that I'd protect innocent lives in the universe from monsters like this."

Juyon summons Hard Terrain JōKai on his fists. His gaze fixed on Izolly with unwavering determination. "I'll have to hold him off long enough for Denkei to recover."

Izolly's face breaks into a small smile, his mouth curling at the corners. "Such determination, brat! You must wanna defeat me!"

"No..... I don't have any desire to defeat you. My only desire is to protect this Empire from people like you," Juyon launches himself towards Izolly, his JōKai Amplification extending the length of his jump.

Izolly mimics Juyon's actions, leaping toward him, and JōKai Amplification surrounding his body. "You're going to have to kill me here and now for you to achieve that!"

Juyon and Izolly clash, a deafening explosion shaking the arena and sending debris flying in all directions. The force behind the attack rouses Denkei from his slumber, and he sees Juyon and Izolly exchanging blows. "Juyon, you're fighting him now..."

Denkei stares at the blood on his fingers, and his eyes widen as he realizes something. "If Juyon were too... Yeah, I need him to stall Izolly long enough."

Izolly swings his bat at Juyon's head, but Juyon dodges to the left and counters by throwing a right hook. Izolly grabs Juyon's right arm, and his bat connects on a mighty swing with Juyon's left arm, leaving a painful sting in its wake. Izolly applies JōKai Amplification to augment his strength; then, he unleashes a kick to Juyon's abdomen, making Juyon stumble backward. He leaps into the air and sends his bat arcing with a whoosh toward Juyon's head. "Spark Bat: Arc Pummel!"

The force of the attack knocks Juyon down, and the Izolly strikes Juyon repeatedly with his bat while he's down. Juyon clasps his fists together, and Hard Terrain JōKai covers them, bracing himself for Izolly's attack. "Horns of Taurus!" Juyon and Izolly engage in another intense clash, causing the Hard Terrain JōKai on Juyon's fists to fade away as Izolly attempts to gain the upper hand. Juyon rolls over, taking advantage of Izolly's momentum and throwing him off balance.

Juyon jumps back up, his fists clenched and connects with a solid left hook to Izolly's face. Then, Juyon's hands move so fast it creates the illusion of multiple fists flying through the air. "Mandruk Barrage!" Juyon unleashes a barrage of punches, sending Izolly skidding across the ground.

Izolly stands up and lets out a loud, maniacal cackle, his eyes locked onto Juyon. "Oh, boy, I did not expect you to hit that hard! Your punches hit a lot harder than they did earlier, however...." Izolly activates Spark JōKai on his bat and lunges toward Juyon. Izolly swings his bat and makes contact with Juyon's face, leaving a red mark. "Spark Bat: Shock Swing!"

Juyon's body slams into the arena's stone wall, and he collapses onto the ground. Juyon stands up, grimacing as he clutches his stomach and coughs up blood from his mouth. "I'm near my limit.."
