"Shit", as soon as Taehyung sees the caller ID, the word slips from his mouth. It was Yewon and the realisation of where he should be and where he is actually is crushes and kills the mood.
Jungkook analyses the dilemma in his eyes. Knowing that call was probably related to his reality, where he should be. Not with him but with someone more important. what they share is nothing closer to what deserves importance so if Taehyung was contemplating leaving him one more time, he wouldn't let that happen. Even if he sounds desperate, he wants it so he says, "Don't answer"
Taehyung is confused by his sudden authoritative request, "What?"
The words came firm and clear, "I said don't answer"
Even though the brunette's heart wanted the same, he knew he shouldn't be doing these things. If his father found out about him going around kissing other guys, he can only imagine what he would do. His father would go to any extent to break everything good that he has in life and if that meant hurting this beautiful man in front of him, the man is capable of that for sure. So he tries to convince him, "But---"
This time it came out as a request, "I know you have to, but just don't"
The brunette knew he should leave. The call was probably a wakeup call or a warning, alerting him to not give into his temptation but his heart is putting up a strong battle against his logic, "but---"
So finally the raven asks, "Do you want to?", in his heart he knows the answer to that question. Heck, he could see the other's beautiful deep almond eyes screaming for help, desperately wanting to be convinced to stay but his mouth was saying otherwise.
Taehyung was silent. He didn't know a good come back and he was also too afraid to confess to that question.
The raven tried to provoke him, "Tell me, do you wanna leave?"
Taehyung didn't know how to refuse, so he just closed his eyes and softly pecked the raven's lips. because he actually wanted to stay and didn't dare to say it out loud. His lack of response but a beautiful gesture made Jungkook pleasantly smirk. the brunette's eyes were filled with, 'I don't know how to tell you that I want to stay', so the raven said, "Don't worry, no one would blame you for ditching your reality for one day. You owe it to me anyway".

A day before, the decorators came and a huge garden was being prepared for the ceremony. Bunches of white and pink roses were used. White chairs with a centre table were placed all over for the guests to sit and enjoy. A stage was decorated with white curtains and flowers.

The day of engagement.
"Tae, wake up!", Yewon came to Kim's Villa early that morning and went straight to her fiance's room. Taehyung wasn't in bed and that made Yewon crease her eyebrows in confusion. She went on to check the bathroom which was locked. She released a sigh, "Tae, get ready soon. We have some arrangements to double check"
She heard no response. She knew that Taehyung was just bothered beyond words. His father was back from the trip but the old man hadn't yet unloaded his wrath on his son. She knew that her declaration that there would be no merger made Kim Mooyoung mad to no extent but she was just protecting her business from an opportunist vulture. But the thing is he was fine for the past days until the day before yesterday.
Yewon had called him a million times but her finance just didn't answer. She wanted to notify him about his father's return but that didn't happen. She let it slide that probably Taehyung was out with his best friend and needed some time off from the drama. She also noticed that the dog was missing from the house. Probably her fiance went on to return the pet to its real owner and decided to spend some time there. All the explanations were fitting well until he returned the next afternoon and was silent, again.
