Taehyung found himself tossing and turning restlessly in his bed, unable to even blink his eyes after confessing his feelings to Jungkook. The aftermath of those words hanging in the air left him in a state of turmoil.

To add to the confusion, Jungkook's reaction was far from notable. Rather than offering a clear response, Jungkook stood there in a daze and eventually retreated to his own room, advising Taehyung to catch some sleep.

The real dilemma for Taehyung was how on earth he was supposed to find peace in sleep. The entire afternoon had been spent deeply slumbering in the warmth of Jungkook's embrace. The absence of that comforting presence now made it difficult for him to unwind. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he dearly missed having Jungkook by his side.

Adding to the complexity of the situation are the unexpected and disconcerting revelations made by Jungkook. Although Taehyung had some suspicions about Yewon's willingness to stoop low, the extent of Jungkook's disclosures caught him off guard. However, in a twisted way, he wasn't entirely surprised, given his familiarity with the manipulative tactics employed by his wealthy father. Dealing with such underhanded schemes is unfortunately par for the course when navigating the world of the affluent. As unsettling as it is, Taehyung recognizes that it's just another chapter in the playbook of the privileged.

Taehyung was aware something was cooking under his nose. The rich folks, they play dirty, always have some scheme up their sleeves. So when Jungkook spilled the tea about Yewon's low-down tactics, it wasn't exactly a shocker. It's like, what else is new, right?

So to cover all his bases, Taehyung roped in his trusty hyung, Min Yoongi, to keep tabs on Yewon and her sidekick. Yoongi's got his back, giving him the inside scoop on any sketchy moves they make. 'Cause let's face it, when the stakes are high, you gotta have someone watching your six. And who knows, maybe Yewon's got some twisted plan to drag Taehyung's psychiatrist into this mess. Like, seriously, can't a guy catch a break?

Mooyoung, with a contemplative expression on his face, took a leisurely sip of his ginseng tea and inquired, "How's Mr Jung now?".

Meanwhile, Park Sehun, the secretary of Jung Gicheol, maintained a dubious gaze since Mooyoung's arrival at the mansion. Despite being well aware of Mooyoung's cunning nature, Sehun adhered to a civilized demeanor, fulfilling his professional obligation. He knew all too well about Mooyoung's sinister tendencies. Sehun replied, "He's pretty much the same. The doctors have recommended some physiotherapy, and it's currently underway."

Mooyoung, with a thoughtful expression, probed further, "Got any leads on who might be responsible for this mess?"

Sehun visibly tensed, recognizing Mooyoung's subtle taunts. Aware that Mooyoung was well-informed about his suspicions, Sehun grappled with controlling his nerves. Despite harboring strong suspicions about Mooyoung's involvement in the attack, he lacked the concrete evidence needed to pin the blame on the underworld King. Mooyoung had a knack for staying clean, orchestrating his schemes with precision and slipping away unscathed. Clearing his throat, Sehun cautiously responded, "The detectives are on it, and top police officials are conducting an investigation, but they haven't uncovered much yet."

Mooyoung was finding Sehun's frustration amusing but wasn't finished needling him. "Got any suspects in mind?" he prodded.

Sehun's fists clenched at the provocation, but he kept his tone steady. "We... uh, we're waiting for the detectives to confirm."

"Oh, and here's a juicy bit, Mr. Park. I  heard Ms. Jung was pointing fingers at Taehyung," Mooyoung added in an accusatory tone, clearly enjoying the chaos he was causing.
