Taehyung and Jungkook were having breakfast and were audibly quiet. Jungkook was dying to ask Tae about the situation this morning but then he was also fearing the question he would have to respond to in return. So after a lot of contemplation, he decided to stay quiet.

Taehyung on the other hand was too embarrassed to have been exposed. He got hard seeing the proximity and recalled all the erotic images his mind had imagined when he jerked off to the imagination of the raven. What if Jungkook starts hating him or worse feels unsafe around him and doesn't want to share the room with him? It would be really embarrassing. 

Yewon already informed him about leaving with Hyuna for the research. So it was just him and Jungkook and him in this big ass suite alone. He isn't sure what to say or do hence he decides to stay quiet.

But soon the silence started seeming off. Once in a while, he caught Jungkook stealing glances at him so he cleared his throat to finally initiate a conversation. "Were you having trouble sleeping last night?"

Jungkook lifted his head from the plate and nodded before saying, "I did"

Taehyung wasn't sure what he was supposed to do with the short response because he expected Jungkoook to carry on the conversation now but seems like the younger's short response left him wanting to continue the conversation to ease off the awkwardness, "So, you decided to c--cuddle me?"

Jungkook wasn't a psychiatrist for nothing. He was just playing dumb to make the elder attempt to open up to him so seeing him trying to continue the conversation he teased back, "It seemed tempting, to be honest. So I took my chances"

Taehyung rolled his eyes at that and retorted, "As if I'm a stuffed toy"

"Probably you are. Actually, you know what, you are in a way like an innocent cute bear which I decided to cuddle last night because I couldn't sleep and guess what? After cuddling you, I had the best sleep of my life", he giggled after stuffing the toast in his mouth.

Taehyung's lips lifted upwards at that, in a shy small smile but he stayed quiet.

A few minutes passed in silence. Jungkook this time decided to finally voice what he'd been dying to ask so finally he asked, "Were you having a nightmare, last night?"

Taehyung's body stiffened involuntarily at the mere mention of the nightmare, a topic that seemed to unravel a web of confusion and uncertainty within him. The dilemma of what to say or do rendered him speechless, prompting him to resort to a mere nod in response. The internal conflict left him unsure whether voicing his hesitations would prove to be a wise decision or not.

However, Jungkook, with a cheeky smile that failed to conceal the sincerity beneath, proposed an alternative topic. "If you're uncomfortable, we can talk about your experience with gay porn, Mr. Kim," he suggested, creating a momentary diversion. Despite the light-hearted comment, Taehyung discerned that there was no point in concealing his thoughts from the younger man. For some inexplicable reason, he felt a level of trust in Jungkook.

Feeling a desire to address the topic at hand, Taehyung gathered his scattered thoughts and responded, "I don't mind talking about it." Jungkook, evidently astonished, inquired further, "Why?"

"Because I trust you," Taehyung confessed, and as if seeking confirmation, Jungkook questioned, "You do?" The elder nodded, and as he lifted his shy eyes, he was met with the warmth and love-filled gaze of the younger man. The captivating gaze, characterized by those distinctively attentive and warmly expressive eyes, exhibited an unwavering focus that refused to divert its attention elsewhere. This compelling ocular connection felt simultaneously familiar and novel. His big Bambi eyes, with their unique warmth and attentiveness, cast a spell that made them appear as if Taehyung had encountered them before, yet their essence carried an undeniable freshness that added an intriguing layer of unfamiliarity to the overall experience. At that moment, Taehyung felt an overwhelming sense of admiration, to the point where the thought of kissing Jungkook crossed his mind.
