"𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰, 𝘑𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯-𝘢𝘩?"

Taehyung finally called his best friend after a month. All this time though he wasn't directly; in contact with Jimin but he knew that his best friend had ways to keep a close watch on his well-being. So he didn't have to bother keeping him updated. Situations have taught Park Jimin to stay one step ahead to have first-hand updates on his best friend's whereabouts.

"What?", Jimin's annoyance was audible.

"𝘖𝘩, 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱"

"Logically I should", the blonde scoffed.

"𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸. 𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥", Taehyung's pout was almost imaginable even though they were talking on the phone. Though Jimin was beyond disappointed when he learned what Tae had tried to do. He was heartbroken to know that his soulmate felt like ending his life. 

"Mad? Tae, you don't realize what I feel. Do you know what would've happened to me if you had left me alone? I have no one apart from you! You were too selfish to do that!"

"𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵", the brunette tried to reason out but Jimin was in no mood to hear out his excuses. He was brimming with anger and worry.

"Oh shut up! I know everything. Yewon saw you passed out due to an overdose of sleeping pills"

"𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘩, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳---", the brunette desperately tried again.

"Kim Taehyung, I don't care what you remember or what you don't. I want you to be safe and alive as long as I am breathing. You don't get to break our promises just because you don't feel like living one day! I am nothing without you. Why don't you get it?"

*𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩* "𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘑𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯-𝘪𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵", he helplessly apologised. He had no explanation for what happened because what everyone knows is actually true but not completely.

Jimin instead of hearing him out conveniently changed the topic, "I heard you agreed to get engaged to that billionaire's daughter"

"𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘩, 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥"

Jimin asked with concern, "Why Tae?"

the helplessness was audible when he said, "𝘐𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯?"

*sigh* "I wish you had", he truly wished that. he knew his friend deserved better. but when are we able to get what we desire? 

*silence* "𝘩𝘰𝘸'𝘴 𝘩𝘦?", the question was asked out of nowhere. but all this time he wanted to know just one thing and that was, 'How was bunny doing?'

Jimin pretended to be clueless because he simply didn't understand their sudden dynamics, "Who?"

"𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵"

When he realised that Taehyung wasn't going to give up, he gave in, "He's coping and I am sure he will be fine as long as he doesn't run into you, "now that hurts to hear but what other option does Tae have? "But seriously what did you guys do that he's this bothered about you?"

Taehyung smiled for some foreign reason knowing that Jungkook was even a bit, bothered about him. Even though his heart didn't want Jungkook to run into danger it also yearned to be a part of his memory at least, "𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘢 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘨𝘶𝘺. 𝘛𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦"
