The moment Jungkook got undressed, Taehyung was totally freaking out. He was all worked up, feeling the heat on every part of his body, and his skin was tingling with anticipation.
Jungkook then made his way onto the bed, keeping his gaze fixed on Taehyung. He reached out and touched the duvet, silently asking for permission with his eyes.
Taehyung's brain was going haywire, trying to process what the heck was going on. Was this real life? He couldn't wrap his head around it. He wanted Jungkook in so many ways, like he was his lifeline pulling him from the depths. For once, he actually wanted to stick around just to hold this guy close. Those big, shiny eyes of Jungkook held a promise of something he never thought he deserved—a future that felt like a far-off dream. He was on the verge of diving into reality, embracing it fully without any reservations. But was it the right call? He wasn't sure, but damn, every fiber of his being was yearning for Jungkook's touch.
Loads of what-ifs were swirling around in his head. Like, what if Jungkook didn't feel the same way about him? That thought alone would totally crush him. And what if anyone found out about the sneaky stuff they've been up to? Man, that would put them both in serious danger, and he wasn't even sure he could keep Jungkook safe. Remembering how Mooyoung offed his own son right in front of Taehyung's eyes, it still haunts him to this day. That guilt? It's eating him alive. He couldn't bear to put Jungkook's life on the line, no way. He'd rather keep him safe, no matter what, even if it meant he couldn't live with himself otherwise. He never knew how deep his feelings for Jungkook ran until this very moment. All he wants is for Jungkook to be safe and with him, and he'd do anything, absolutely anything, to protect the love of his life.
"Hey, Tae?" Jungkook's voice snapped Taehyung out of his thoughts. He just grinned, feeling sure now that he was definitely in love with Jungkook. Jungkook, clueless about Taehyung's inner turmoil, pouted for not getting enough attention and quipped, "I even did a strip tease for you, and all I get is a smile?"
Taehyung laughed and replied, his eyes filled with dreams of a happy future, "I an in love with you, Jungkook."
Jungkook was speechless. So Taehyung kept going, "I... I fucking love you," he confessed, sighing and closing his eyes.
Jungkook couldn't wrap his head around it. Even with Taehyung finally said "I love you," all he could manage was to stare, speechless. He watched Taehyung struggle with his emotions, his heart racing, unable to find the words to respond.

"Ms Jung and Junior Mr Kim were seen at a club together", Jongwon, the secretary, apprised Mooyoung, who was indulging in the leisure of a cigar. Mooyoung, in response, exhaled a cloud of smoke and remarked with a hint of approval
"That's fancy. That useless piece of shit is finally being useful. Keep tabs on them", the old man instructed.
"Um, you know..." Jongwon hesitated, his voice trailing off as he grappled with uncertainty about sharing the next piece of information. Mooyoung shot him a questioning look, silently urging him to spill the beans.
"Turns out Mr. Kim is rooming with his therapist at the hotel," Jongwon finally disclosed.
Mooyoung's jaw clenched in response. He wasn't thrilled about this revelation for several reasons. Firstly, he hadn't known Taehyung was seeing a therapist. Secondly, the fact that they were comfortable sharing a room hinted at a long-standing relationship between them, which didn't sit well with Mooyoung. And thirdly, he couldn't shake off the past, particularly the painful memory of his own son's demise. The thought of history repeating itself and jeopardizing his future plans unsettled him. It had taken him 15 years to bury the truth and mold the narrative to fit his desires. Taehyung had become his only ray of hope after his son's death, and Mooyoung couldn't afford for anyone to discover Taehyung's true orientation. However, he couldn't let his guard down, not even for a moment.
