Yewon's frustration bubbled forth in a disgruntled grumble, her tone heavy with exasperation as she vented her discontent. "I'm so fed up with this man," she uttered, the weight of her annoyance palpable in the air.

Hyuna, ever the calm presence amidst Yewon's turmoil, acknowledged her colleague's sentiments with understanding. "I understand, Ms. Jung," she began, her voice gentle yet firm. "But it's important to recognize that he plays a crucial role in our overarching strategy."

Yewon's response was tinged with a mixture of irritation and resignation. "I know, Hyuna," she replied wearily, her words carrying the burden of repeated acknowledgement. "You don't need to remind me every single time."

A brief pause ensued, a momentary silence punctuated only by the soft exhale of regret from Yewon. "I apologize," Hyuna interjected, her voice offering a sense of conciliation.

Yewon's sigh echoed with regret as she reflected on her outburst, her frustration still simmering beneath the surface. "I didn't mean to lash out at you," she confessed, her admission tinged with remorse. "It's just that Jungkook is proving to be exceedingly difficult. I explicitly instructed him to complete a task, yet he persists in adopting this moody demeanour. If only he weren't... well, you know," she paused, her words laced with a hint of bitterness, "if only he weren't so decidedly uninterested in women, perhaps I could have easily manoeuvred myself into a position to secure the family fortune. But alas, everything seems to be needlessly complicated for me."

Hyuna pondered, expressing her sentiments, "It's undoubtedly accurate, but there are instances when I find myself questioning the true intentions of Dr. Jeon."

Yewon chimed in, sharing her reservations, "I share those doubts. Especially upon the realization of his affinity for Taehyung. I find it challenging to place my trust in him, given his adeptness at psychological tactics. He may attempt to outwit us, and that's a valid concern."

The attorney interjected, a sinister glint in her eyes, "Rest assured, you need not fret about it."

Perplexed, Yewon inquired, "What do you mean?" Her face betrayed her confusion.

With a wicked smile, the attorney explained, "I mean, should he choose to defy us, we possess a contingency plan capable of dismantling everything around him."

Yewon placed full confidence in Hyuna's cunning nature, responding with a smirk, "When I have you, there's nothing for me to be anxious about."

As the clock ticked its way into the dinner hour, Jungkook and Tae remained nestled together, ensconced in a cocoon of warmth and tranquillity. The younger of the two had succumbed to a deep slumber, and Tae, too, found himself immersed in the embrace of sleep. The transition from their intense conversation to this state of peaceful repose was elusive in memory, but the resulting rest became the most serene and restful that Taehyung had ever experienced, a stark contrast to any past struggles with insomnia.

Slowly awakening from the embrace of dreams, Tae shifted, allowing his eyes to flutter open to the sight of Jungkook's placid countenance. At that moment, a profound realization washed over him, an acknowledgement of the depth of his feelings for the younger man. Every aspect of Jungkook seemed to quicken the beat of his heart, rendering Taehyung captivated by an overwhelming sense of affection.

Following 15 long years of navigating life as if tethered to the strings of a puppet, after enduring a relentless abyss of hopelessness and resigning himself to the daily grind of a personal hell, Taehyung discovered a newfound beacon of hope in Jungkook. The younger man emerged as a breath of fresh air, bringing a sense of peace that had long eluded him. Yet, it wasn't merely peace that Jungkook provided; it was an infusion of emotions that transcended the ordinary.
