Yewon strode into her office, finding her secretary already present, armed with the latest updates for the day. Adorned in a flamboyant teal blue power suit, perfectly complemented by an off-white dress shirt, Yewon exuded an air of authority.

Acknowledging her secretary with a professional nod, she seamlessly made her way to the boss's chair, settling into it with a sense of ownership. "Hi, Hyuna. What's the latest?" she inquired, her tone reflecting a blend of curiosity and authority. Crossing her legs, the sound of her white stilettoes resonated on the glass table as she leaned back in the chair, fixing her gaze on the poised figure standing before her.

Hyuna cleared her throat and replied, "Ma'am, recently the Business Times magazine printed an article about Mr Kim"

She furrowed her eyes in curiosity and asked, "Mr Kim, as in?"

The secretary replied, "Mr Kim Taehyung"

"Oh, really? that's weird. What's in the article?"

Hyuna glanced at her iPad, organizing the article displayed on the screen. Passing the device to Yewon, she provided a brief overview, "The focus of the article revolves around his adept handling of business matters. It highlights his recent accomplishment, specifically acknowledging his success with a Chinese client."

Yewon roughly went through the article herself and asked, "Any reasons for their newfound interest in him?"

Hyuna responded, "As of now, no idea, Ma'am. For now, we're taking it as an appreciation article that will benefit the nation's economy as well"

Yewon's curiosity piqued, she inquired, "Nation's economy? Why is that such a big deal? From what I gather, he's just arranging some arms for a diamond businessman, a deal that's likely in the range of 3-5 million, nothing too substantial."

Hyuna concurred with a nod, supplementing the information, "On top of that, Mr Kim is also securing a deal to provide arms to the Chinese government. It's turning out to be a much larger deal than we initially thought."

The revelation didn't sit well with Yewon. A wave of betrayal washed over her features as she exclaimed, "What on earth? He never mentioned a word to me about that!"

Hyung chimed in, "Ma'am, the confirmation just came through."

"But he never let on that he had been in talks with the Chinese government too."

"Perhaps Mr. Kim intentionally kept it under wraps until the official announcement last night."

"And the magazines had the scoop right away?"

"That's the suspicious part, Ma'am. We're working to unravel the situation."

"Hyuna, don't just attempt. I need tangible results."

"Absolutely, I'll make it happen."

Taehyung found comfort in Bam's cuddles, the pup happily gnawing on a toy bone in his embrace. Jungkook couldn't help but observe the visible joy the little one displayed around Taehyung, acknowledging the unspoken connection between them. It was said that animals could sense positive vibes, and Bam was undeniably drawn to Taehyung's uplifting energy. Jungkook, too, felt a subtle attachment to that infectious positivity, even if he wasn't ready to admit it.

Glancing at the clock, Taehyung sighed, breaking the serene atmosphere. "I should be heading out now."

Jungkook immediately felt restless at the statement. He didn't know why every time Taehyung left a mysterious restlessness surrounded his heart, "So soon?"
