Chapter 3 - Navia's messages

I woke up to the sounds of echoing and chirpy birds outside my windows. I heard the winds gushing through and across the sea. I rubbed my eyes and yawned a stretch. I twisted my neck side to side, popping my joints. I hummed a light 'mmm...' as I glanced at the ceiling. My mornings were quite boring. Wake up, get ready, go to work.

I grabbed my phone and checked the time. Five am?! Ugh, that's early. I don't even have to get to work until eight. Whatever, maybe Wriothesley has messaged me?

I opened up messages but nothing was there. The last thing I could see was the 'read' icon written underneath my last message. I rolled my eyes. I'm getting my hopes up. Of course he wouldn't have messaged me.

Suddenly my phone vibrated.
