Two Clueless Shmucks

part 1

Niko and Aj were the typical best friends you'd see on the outside. They would fight and argue. One hated being touched and the other would beg for it. They'd give each other nicknames, some cute, others funny. They love being around each other and couldn't imagine a place better than right beside each other. But on the inside? Well, let's just say, they have their little secrets. Niko has been talking to a girl for a couple of months now. Things are starting to seem serious, which is getting on Aj's nerves.

"Honestly, it's Brielle this, Brielle that, horror name by the way, it's like he doesn't have time for anyone else anymore" Aj folds his arm and slouches on the sofa. Sad that he's lost his best friend to a girl

"Don't be jealous man. At least he spends time with you. I barely get to see him." Kenny says

"Oh what? Hey Niko can you keep it down, I'm working. Man I never knew that was spending time with him"

"That can't be everything you guys talk about. You live together for flips sake" Chunkz points out

"You're jealous aren't you?" Sharky asks

"Jealous is a mad word. Never jealous"

"Nothing wrong with being a bit jealous you're losing your boy. What else do you man talk about?" Chunkz asks Aj

"Just the basic. He'd ask me what I'd eaten stuff like that. Never anything interesting"

"Clearly he cares if he's asking what you ate" Kenny points out

"What he doesn't do that to you man?"

"No. Why would he ask what we ate" Sharky said

"Not even when we lived together?"

Chunkz started to laugh "if he asked yeah, what I ate in a day when we lived together, he'd be sat there all day" he wheezed, causing everyone else to go into hysterics.

"Mental health, oh my God" Kenny laughed out

"Wait so, Aj where is Niko? He was meant to come here with you wasn't he?" Sharky asked

"He was. But he was taking forever to get ready because he was too deep in conversation with-"

"let me guess." Chunkz paused for a sarcastic suspense. "Brielle" He chuckled out

"We got into some argument. Bit petty, but I'm not saying sorry"

"Well we need to know what it was about, so we know who to vouch for"

"Well I just spoke the truth. That it felt like Niko was spending way too much time with someone else than he was with his best friends"

"What and you said it like that?" Kenny asked

"Might have been a teeny bit aggressive"

"Of course it was" Sharky said "so what did he say?"

"Mm" Chunkz agreed, wanting to know

"That I shouldn't be so rude to her, he was planning on making it serious so I should get used to her being around the house more. I told Niko it's my house too, I should be allowed a say in who stays and for how long they're around. He didn't like that idea and said either I suck it up or he'll move out."

"What?!" Kenny was shocked

"Nah he's moving brazy still. Over a girl? that's not even cuffed yet? Mental." Chunkz said

"Obviously I don't want him to move out, but I mean. You guys know me right? I'm not being too dramatic am I? You guys know I like my space sometimes. Lock my door all the time and I keep my distance with touch sometimes. But it doesn't mean I'm not affectionate in other ways. Right?"
