After the whole fight between Chunkz and Aj, plus the argument between Aj and Niko, the 5 friends thought it would just be best to cancel the trip and go home. Much to Brielle's disappointment. The 5 went back to Sharky's house to try and fix all the fights between them, dropping Brielle off at her house. Because of this, she seemed to believe that Niko only cared about his friends rather than her. For some reason, she couldn't see what her boyfriend was going through currently.
Sharky and Kenny sat in the middle sofa, Chunkz and Niko sat on the left sofa and Aj sat at the right side. It was clear that the first person to be interrogated by Sharky and Kenny was Aj.
"Why are you lot looking at me for?" Aj asked, as if it wasn't obvious.
"Aj... you spat in Niko's face and gave Chunkz a black eye. We're your friends, not your enemies." Sharky started. "And I know you know that. So what's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm fine. Just in a bad mood since the morning." Aj then pointed at Niko. "That ones girlfriend decided to go in my room without asking. Then slapped me."
"So you punched Chunkz in the face?" Kenny asked
"I didn't mean to hit him that hard!"
"Maybe not, but you still did" Chunkz said. "And I did too. I'm sorry for giving you a nose bleed. It was genuinely not my intention to. I just got really mad really quick" Chunkz apologised.
Aj looked down. He had no clue what to do. All his friends were on to him and all Aj wanted to do was to go home and sleep.
"Aj?" Sharky waited for a reply back. However, he realised he wasn't going to get anything out of him yet when the man just folded his arms and leaned back.
"You need to start talking about your feelings Aje. Its not healthy to keep it all bottled up all the time" Niko told him.
"I don't like your girlfriend. How's that for opening up?" Aj said, rudely.
Niko sighed and just decided to stay quiet. He couldn't win with Aj, no matter what he did or how hard he tried there was honestly no getting something positive out of the man when he was in a bad mood. He'd just see how far Kenny and Sharks will be able to get with him.
"Listen man, I saw you cry after I hit you. You clearly felt something." Chunkz just wanted the shorter man to focus on any emotion that wasn't anger.
"Yeah, you're right I did feel something. Felt pain. And when did this become a therapy session?" Aj was getting annoyed.
"Since you made it clear you'd rather not communicate with us. Your best friends" Kenny said
"Want communication? Fine." Aj sat up. "Chunkz you piss me off. Always trying to act like you're in charge of me or try and control the decisions I make and it annoys me. You treat me like a child or someone that needs to be fixed and never let me just do my own thing and see where I go like that."
Aj's friends looked at each other, clearly pleased about what he said. There were insults in the explanation but it was definitely a start.
"Okay then I'm sorry. I was just trying to help you. But I'll back off. Yeah?" Chunkz really didn't want it to be like that. He really wanted to help Aj, but the man just wouldn't let him.
Aj nodded. "Thanks. And I'm sorry I punched you." He then looked around to his friends once more. He hadn't felt this awkward around them in ages. "We done now?" He asked
"Now talk to Niko." It was clear that this was the topic that Aj was trying his best to avoid.
"Nothing to talk about with him." His friends groaned.
"You spat in my face, man. You seriously wanna say there's nothing to talk about?" Niko asked.
"Sorry." Aj said.
"I don't want an apology. I want an explanation."
Aj bit his tongue. Almost everything in him was saying to look at Chunkz for some kind of help. But with what he said, it would almost be insane. At this point Aj realised he really needed Chunkz. He loved that man to death because it was clear that he would do almost anything just to help Aj out a bit.
"You're..." Aj started "It was just a build up of your girlfriend. I'm sorry, okay? I just- I don't know- I just feel like... Sometimes... I don't know man" Aj gave up
"Nah go on. You were going good" Kenny praised.
"We've had this conversation before though. It feels like you care more about her than me. And the fact that you're dating her now just made it worse" Aj let it out all at once.
Niko frowned. "Aj, I tried to talk to you about this myself. I asked you what I could do to help you. And I asked what would happen if I dated her. You said you were perfectly fine with it"
"Well, maybe I lied!" Aj glared at the taller man.
"I don't know what to do about that." Niko was honest.
"Okay, I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Aj got up and before anyone else could protest, the man was out the door and in search for Sharky's bathroom.
Sharky sighed. "Man that boy has deep communication issues."
"Hey, now that he's gone. Can I quickly tell you guys something?" Niko piped up.
"Yeah gowan" Chunkz said
"I'm gonna be leaving tomorrow. Going on holiday with Brielle."
"Huh?" The sentence caught Sharky off guard.
"Listen, there's something about me that... you guys don't know. I'm just trying to figure myself out before I tell you."
"And so going with Brielle is gonna help with that, is it? Bro she'd fuck your head up more" Chunkz was annoyed.
"No, trust me. She needs to be there." Niko sighed. "Listen, I'll tell you guys this much. I don't know if I have feelings for Brielle anymore."
Chunkz stared at Niko in an intense way that it really confused the taller man. Did Chunkz know something that he didn't? Why was he looking at him in that way?
"Alright. So what time are you going?" Kenny asked as it was the only thing he was unaware of.
"I'll be gone before midnight. So I'll be leaving my house by maybe 1o if you guys wanna say goodbye or something." Niko figured that's why they asked.
"Yeah, we'll be there."
"When you telling Aj?" Chunkz asked
"Just before I leave. I can't handle him being mad at me for the whole day" Niko smiled sadly.
Tomorrow was a scary day for Niko. His friends seemed somewhat okay with his leaving, but he had a feeling that Aj wouldn't be as okay with it as they were. Niko was not at all sure about what was going to happen tomorrow, but he really did just hope for the best.
Just try not to get spat on again, Niko. Niko laughed to himself.
