I always tried hard,
To fit in the criteria which was never mine,
To be the best or nothing at all, because
normalcy was never my line.
I always tried a little harder,
To be someone enough for you, someone you
are proud of.
To be like the stars which were the favourite
thing of yours, like the moon you were always
fond of.
Even when I tried really really hard,
I was still the one, standing still in the shadow:
away from your light.
All I wanted was some words,appreciative or
not, but you were always silent.
I had tried hard,
I painted myself in blue so you could blossom
in red,
I let my every dream fall so you can complete
every of all,
I really tried hard.

But sometimes i question myself did I? Did I really tried hard?
