Attitude

In an instant, I straightened my body as I stepped outside again. My back was aching. I let out a long sighed and recalled what I had heard. I was hesitant whether to step down or not, because there were no stairs in sight. But when I noticed some strange things on the jamb, I reached for it and pressed. To my surprise, it lit up and a staircase appeared. Hindi ako nag-aksaya ng oras at agad nang bumaba.

My mouth dropped open when I landed. I was right. There were all sorts of books here. There was a single bed on the side, just covered with a white blanket. Marahan akong lumapit doon to remove the cover. Basically, my jaw dropped at the pictures that appeared behind it.
