I've been rotting in my bed the whole day. Of course the day I can finally leave the house, is the day I decide to be a lazy ass and sit in my room.
Stupid.
I don't even have anything to do, having already organized all of my stuff twice, and now reading one of the books I got.
It's about a girl who's touch is lethal, and is captured because she killed a child. I'm only in the first book, but I already like Adam the best since he's the only one who cares about her.
Warner is a cunt in my opinion.
When I reach page 113, and want to lay the book down so I can ask Javi to use his computer to scroll a bit on Pinterest- an app I've started to really like. Everyone on there admires Warner and I have no idea why- I hear a knock on my door.
When I don't answer, I see the handle go down and Adrian's face pop up.
"Hey Zina, Eleandro asked me to give you this." He holds out a white rectangular box.
I take it from him and turn it around. I see an apple on the top of the box and the image of a phone. It isn't the same phone I got from Luca, but I do recognize the picture.
I open the box carefully, now knowing how fragile a phone is, and take it out the box.
It's a beautiful white phone, with atleast 3 cameras I can count. It looks like a more advanced Phone than I got from Luca, but I can be wrong.
I open it, and see that I can immediately enter the phone.
I go to contacts and see all of my brothers's numbers already put in the phone, together with a certain 'Mario'.
I look at Lucas with a questioning look, and he nods and explains.
"That's the man who will, umm, be by your side when you have to walk alone at night or something. New York is a big scary town hahaha." He laughs uncomfortable and I wonder why he acts like this but just nod in understanding.
"Okay, uhum, I will see you later Zina." He says clearing his throat and trying to leave as soon as possible.
He almost closed my door, when his head pops inside again.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot. Your, uhm, package has been delivered. Eleandro thought you would like to go get it so you could come outside?" He stutters a bit befor he finally closes the door behind him.
Yes I forgot too. The package I had ordered the night of my attempt.
Just wonderful.
However it doesn't bring up good memories, I do hop out of my bed and go downstairs.
My brothers are nowhere to be seen, so I quickly put on one of their pair of slippers and walk all the way to the mailbox.
When I say all the way, I'm not overreacting.
