I forced Elena to show me her house, being the fact I didn't want to get out to the real world. The world Katherine ruined for me.
We arrival at Elena's house after we got into what she likes to call a car. The machine was able to get us to her house. We got out of the car and went to the front door. She unlocked the door and went inside. I tried to follow her, but was blocked by an imaginary wall.
I growled and looked at Elena who was smirking. "Is something wrong?" She asked me, pretending not to know.
"Invite me in, Elena." I snapped.
She shook her head, "No."
I was about to continue, then I heard someone behind me and I turned around and saw a young boy.
"Jeremy..." I heard Elena whisper and I knew he was important to her. Maybe even a brother.
I quickly ran over to him until someone threw me away from him. I fell to the ground but quickly stood up and saw someone. Someone I knew from 1864.
"Annabelle." I whispered and ran over to her. I quickly pulled her into a hug.
She pulled away first, "Oh my god, Julia. Where have you been?" Anna asked me.
A tear quickly filled my eyes, "Katherine put me in the tomb to keep me from killing myself."
"I told you she wouldn't let you die, Julia. You're her best friend." She told me. Anna looked up and down at my clothes, "You can come and live with my mother and I." I quickly nodded. She looked then she looked at the boy named Jeramy. "I'll see you later, Jer."
Then she grabbed my arm and sped us away from the Elena's house.

Nightfall had came, and Katherine had not shown up yet. I started to feel a lot better and stronger. Today, they gave me a small bowl of soup, and surprisingly I was able to keep it down. They also gave me another bath when I wasn't eating or anything. They placed a cold towel on my forehead, to keep me cool. Half way through the day, they changed my sheets. They made sure I was always clean no matter what.
I stayed up until midnight waiting for Katherine to show but she didn't. Soon I became very tired and could barely keep my eyes open. Until I heard something.
"Juliana, are you awake?" I heard Katherine asked me.
"Yes," I said tiredly.
She chuckled and shook her head. "No, you are not. Go to sleep, I will stay here until sunrise."
"Wait," I whispered. "Can you hand me my tea?" I asked her.
Katherine smiled, "Yes."
I closed my eyes until she brought me my tea. I opened my eyes when she brought it to me. I tried to sit up, but I was so tried I didn't have the strength. Katherine quickly help me up and placed a pillow behind me. Then handed the cup to me.
"Thank you." I whispered and took a sip of the cold tea. When I swallowed it, it had a bitter taste. I looked at the cup confused, only a hour ago it tasted fine. "What is wrong with this?"
"I put my blood in your tea, Juliana." Katherine answered and my eyes widen.
"What?" I asked and pushed the cup away.
"You will be okay. Just do not die with it in your system." She explained and my eyes widen even more.
"Then why did you give this to me!" I screamed, probably waking the other patients.
She sighed, "My blood can help heal you."
I was about to say that was impossible, but then again, so were vampires. I nodded and placed my cup of tea on the dresser.
"Katherine, what can you tell about vampires?" I asked her.
She sat down on the edge of the bed. "What do you want to know?"
"Everything." I told her.
She sighed and placed her hand on my leg. "To turned into a vampire, a vampire as to give someone blood and then die. When they wake up they have to feed." Katherine explained.
"Feed?" I asked.
She stared at me, "Drink human blood." My throat went dry. "Anyhow, if they do not feed, then they will die. There is this plant, vervain. Vervain is toxic to vampires and you will burn. You already know, but we can not walk in the sun, or else we will die."
Katherine pushed a piece of hair out of my face, "I want to turn you, Juliana. You are different then anyone else I know."
My throat was as dry as a desert after hearing that. "I-I-I'm only s-sixteen, Katherine." I stuttered.
She smiled, "We will wait until you are well and we will talk about this again." The vampire paused, "Go to sleep."
I nodded and closed my eyes and fell into a peaceful sleep.

Anna sped us away to another house. She told me that her mother and some of the other vampires from the tomb were also here.
When we were on the way to the house, I asked Anna questions. "Why were you not in the tomb with the rest of us?" I asked her.
"I got lucky, Julia. My mother didn't." She answered.
I cleared my throat, "Have you seen her?" I questioned, asking about Katherine.
Anna sighed, "The last time I saw her was in Chicago, 1983."
Tears filled my eyes, "I don't think she cared for me, Annabelle."
She looked over at me, "I think she did at one point, but once you started thinking about killing yourself, she didn't. " Anna explained.
I paused for a moment and looked over at her, "Will you do it? Kill me?" I asked.
Annabelle quickly shook her head, "I can't kill my friend, Juliana."
I sighed, "I had to try."
